Just reread the manga, there is all you need to get your mood back up as it's a Narusakufest.

I don't want to jinx it, but it'd be so amazing if NaruSaku was already canon during the movie. The meltdowns would be cray.

That would help me gain back some respect for Naruto.

Naruto, just ask sakura out, there is no excuse now. !

I'm not exactly againsg.t Naruto giving up once in his life, but the problem is : in the manga it's NS who get all the build ups and nice moments, while NH get almost nothing but a few naruto-kun here and there and 2 suicides.

So when I read the manga, it's NS I'm expecting if the author cares about continuity and development.

I say it's way too late for NH when NS is that strong in the manga.

It's about continuity to me and not about having the hero's might trumping everyone's and always getting what he wants. As it's not very realistic, and too indealistic for my taste.

 

Let's not forget the last thing he told his father 'As for finding someone just great as her....Well it's not all going my way. but I'm trying my best' or someithing along those lines, his last words to his father before he disappeared still hinted at him being in love with Sakura, because A) He doesn't have to do anything to progress with Hinata she's already fawning all over him and B) There is only one female in the manga who Naruto thinks is just like his mother and he respects as much her and that's Sakura.

 

Thing is even if it does end up NaruSaku it doesn't really change the fact that the current promotion material is still pointing towards HN, it's potentially misleading and I don't think NH fans deserve that, They've done nothing to deserve being trolled like that, same way we've not done anything to deserve potentially getting shafted. This isn't clever marketing it's trolling, (if it isn't NH) and I can't say i'm happy with that kind of misleading advertising.

Not all the NH fandom deserve to be trolled like that, but I can think of a dozen lads I would enjoy seeing the bitter tears of.

Does anyone know who Sasuke is talking about in the trailer when he says: "If he’s not here, then there’s obviously no choice but for me to protect you." You don't think he's talking to Sakura about Naruto, do you?

He's talking to a superior/someone older.
People assumed he was talking to Kakashi...

It's a bit humiliating for kakashi to have to be protected like a pure maiden though.

all those hints and parallels, even the media teasing NS and Naruto just fulfilled his promise to her and is still very much in love with her...how in the world could it be NH? are people really losing their faith? it's like if Orihime wanted to give Ichigo a scarf and then got kidnapped...I haven't really watched bleach in a while but meh

 

The fact that there isn't even any SS teasing at all in this too are you people serious?

 

How could Hinata have even knitted him the scarf if he is shown wearing it as a little boy? So are they trying to say that over the time-skip he fell for Hinata and told her in this movie "wait for me"? this sounds so ridiculous xD and Sakura is encouraging her to go for Naruto?

It's probably just Kishi using Hinata to expend the NS dramu 3 years in the future.

In Kishi's twisted mind, it could be showing us Naruto rejecting a nice girl with big kittens who really loves him, to highlight how deadset he's on Sakura.

I kind of think the movie would be extremely cruel if they set up Hinata to be essentially the main focus (the whole backstory about wanting to give Naruto a scarf, her sister being kidnapped instead of her, etc) -- only for her to be rejected by Naruto. Then you have Sakura, who is oddly MIA. I don't take well to shoujo, and this is exactly what it feels like.

Hinata is a tragic character, she's there to suffer.

Like a weak uncool Itachi.
