I was a NS fan and still somehow want it to happen, but only if it can can happen in a manner where Naruto doesn't look a second choice especially second to Sasuke. I am not giving depressed comments, I am just writing my opinions which you people who are so optimistic and ignorant about the bad moments of NS.

 

You guys think CPR is romnatic but not the hand holding scene of hinata, you guys think Hinata's confession was selfish but not Sakura's fake confession. I mean what the hell.

 

Accept the bad things our pairing has had along with the good things. Currently NS is on a bad path and I don't want it to happen(I want an open ending as of now). I am a Naruto fan first and then NS fan. If I feel that by NS happening and due to Sakura's stupid feelings for Sasuke, Naruto will look like a second guy or a forced option, I will like to comment on it.

 

You guys can live in your happy dreamworld where you think our pairing has nothing bad in it, but I do see some serious kitten in our pairing just like their is kitten in other pairings. And this kitten was just confirmed by DB4 and 693.

 

If you guys consider Sakura's FAVORITE as Sasuke is nothing Bad, their is a clear proof of your stupid ignorance. If you guys think Sakura saying "I LOVE YOU" to Sasuke in 693 was fine, Sakura thinking about Sasuke in 540 was anti-SS, her words to PAY BACK Naruto for him loving her and protecting her is pro-NS, you guys are nothing but blind to the stupid things kishi is doing to NS and also I think many will be fine with Naruto being a second guy, because according to many "Sakura fans" here Sakura shouldn't be with Sasuke because he treats her as kitten, Hinata shouldn't be with Naruto because of no development, but Naruto can be with Sakura even if she has feelings for another man, because Sakura is just the best character and most real life character and he is allowed to make any number of mistakes as possible.

 

You guys don't give a damn how things will reflect upon Naruto, you guys just want NS to happen no matter what Sakura's feelings for Naruto really are and even if she still loves Sasuke.
 

 

Don't blame it on the pairing NaruSaku... Everything in the manga is reason enough to ship it. Naruto's feelings for Sakura, and Sakura's feelings for Naruto. It's a shame Kishi is wasting all that romantic and platonic development away. 

 

Don't be ashamed of shipping it. It was a good pairing, with a lot of good moments and development. Something NaruHina and SasuSaku don't have. Be proud that you shipped a realistic pairing like NaruSaku. A positive and logical pairing.

I agree. I'd rather have an open-ending at this point. Kind of expected one since the beginning of the series. But apparently Kishi's going to go ahead and make Naruto marry someone - and it's very possible it's Hinata. Which like I said, is disappointing, but whatever... What can you do... :/

 

I'll always love NaruSaku, but no doubt if NH becomes canon, it'll leave a really deep scar on us :l

Agreed that some moments of NS which we got throughout the manga were extremely nice and some were good or bad, but in the end I believe what actually does matter is how the pairing happens.

 

If kishi is so stupid to make Sasuke a favourite of Sakura, and  make the character who showed selfless love for the girl a silver medal, I can be nothing but disappointed. I won't like NH happening because of no development, and NS has just been so much messed up from the romanitc point due to kishi's desire to keep tha pairing war going.

 

Platonically I still find NaruSaku the best, far better than NaruSasu, but romantically NS/NH/SS is a no for me. I want an open ending now but I know that also won't happen. So I will just move on from the sadness I will get from either NAruto becoming a silver medal, or from a pairing which was not developed. Seriously wasted so many years loving the romantic part of story as well.

 

I really loved NaruSaku(romantic) but now Sakura's feelings have been showed to live for Sasuke and that is not an acceptable criteria for me seeing NS happening.

 

 

I don't think it's as bad as your making it out to be, thing is, Kishi just messed up when writing this so called love triangle, if he had it like Tsunade with her boys (jairya and Dan)it would make sense, both are kind and care about her. But he made Sasuke a kitten, so....

Well if their love triangle would have been like jiraiya-tsunade-dan type then NS happening would have been so much more acceptable, because for that kishi might have shown Sakura really falling for NAruto because she loved him, not because the other one rejected and demeaned her all the time, or kishi could have made SS canon that way also(after all Sasuke sems to be his favourite).

 

But I can't expect anything from kishi, he freakin still made Sasuke the favourite of Sakura when all he did for her was completely nothing. This completely tells whom she loves more.

 

I just will make myself a POAL that I won't read any of his works in future, or if I do, I will just ignore the romance in it.

Sakura has to be some how be involved in Naruto's love life. If Naruto really does get over Sakura, I would like a good explanation to why?

Well it's not that difficult to understand.

 

If you think about NS in kind of a real life situation the guy would already have moved on or atleast would be trying very hard to move on after not getting his feelings  requited even after doing every thing possible to make the girl happy, and realise that he loves her. Also after you know that a friend of yours told her how you felt for her and she still does not think of you romantically, I think it is seriously unhealthy for that guy to still want to be with that girl.

 

Actually the only thing that keeps this ship sailing according to me is Naruto's attitude of never giving up, and his selfless feelings is the main reason many fell in love with NS whereas Sakura's stupid feelings is the reason many jumped this ship

Remember before Naruto made his promise to Sakura. How sad he look just before? He did understand that she was in love with Sasuke. When she said it in front of him in 693, that didn't even faze him. Wonder why? Because Sasuke is family to both Naruto and Sakura.

The difference of this I love you is that it wasn't meant romantically. When Sasuke leave the village Sakura tried to convince him to take her with him, by saying that she will make him happy everyday and do whatever his need (I let your imagination what she meant by that) 

Here, the afterward was it will be like the old day, when they were all together, as a team. In the old day, Sakura wasn't in a relation with Sasuke if memory serve right. Kakashi confirmed that it wasn't romantically either.

 

Naruto still love Sakura and Sakura still have feeling for Naruto. The whole story show it. Fear make you neutral now friend and it's ok. You don't like any other pairing but the recent NH tease make you believe it's the endgame. Have faith in logic and writing coherence. I like NS as a pairing because they got chemistry and I found them cute together, but mostly it's because it's been pointed for over 600 chapters that I believe it's the end game. If it weren't for that, it will be my fantasy pairing.

 In life if you face unrequited love will you like to move on or you will keep on having hopes to get your feelings returned. That's what I want for Sakura, if she still say "I Love You" to Sasuke but he never give kitten to her , tried to kill multiple times , rejected & insulted her,.... ......etc

If the things which are bad in real life doesn't matter in fiction, then why do people think that if Sasuke has tried to kill Sakura, Sakura should try to move on. According to you in fiction anything is legit as long as it is not trying to kill the other person right??

 

Sakura should have moved on from Sasuke but she didn't (540,693) because of some misplaced sense of love I think.

Naruto should have moved on from Sakura but he didn't because Sakura does care about him.

Hinata should have moved on from Naruto but didn't because Naruto is nice to her and everyone else as well.

Sakura should have moved on but still pines for Sasuke so why should Naruto become the second guy after Sauke rejected her. I believe Naruto deserves better than being a second guy for anyone, and even if NH will make Hinata a silver medal for Naruto, atleast Naruto can be trusted to only chose the person when he has for sure developed feelings, unlike Sakura who goes ahead to do a fake confession to save him from a burden and then fails on taking care of that burden.

 

 

Kishimoto has messed up the pairing, whether you agree or not by trying ot keep the shipping wars on, and no matter which pairing happens it will not be completely justified to me atleast.

 

Why didn't kishimoto made his pairing like Mashima does it. The pairings are so clear and the moments are all positive NaLu, Gruvia,Gajevy or like in FMA- Edward+Winry

 

If kishi wanted wars it was right till the part 1 but atleast in part 2 he should have completely resolved Sakura's feelings but she is still like "I Love You" Sasuke-kun, thinks about him if someone talks about her love, fails to strike a blow when the reason for her fake confession to Naruto was to save him from his burden. And these are also the moments which makes me think that whether NS happening will be justified for Naruto or he will just be second guy to Sasuke for Sakura because Sasuke just doesn't reciprocate.

Something like this will actually be very very nice, but I don't at all expect kishi doing this. According to me if sakura comes their are higher chances she will again take sasuke's name first and after shedding some tears will most probably hesitate about whom to heal first. In case she hesitates even a bit I will definitely consider NS to be unworthy of happening, but I hope I am wrong and this time she does make the correct and final decision about her feelings towards the guys and her priorities. Pls don't make sakura hesitate on whom to chose first kishi.

Yes I understand we all want this to be just Naruto and Sasuke, but remember what Itaichi said about Naruto's parents they did everything as a team, Naruto still has the problem with him when he goes on about only he will fight and all that, and the main thing we learned is Team work, if we truely want to know Naruto is better then what's better than showing Sakura and Kakashi helping Naruto while Sasuke is fighing alone.

 

Remember guys Sasuke is one who also thought that he needed no help in his fight and to me its needed, its needed to show you can't do everything by yourself, at time you need help and Naruto needs to learn this and learn that he needs it more so now when Sasuke is just about to kill him

YES, I think it will be really good for Sakura to stay out of the fight because of many reasons:-

 

1. Naruto has always wanted to defeat Sasuke and he admitted it in the last chapter as well, that he wants to beat Sasuke.

2. Sakura can't be given a chance right now after her hopeless begging for Sasuke to stop. It is Naruto's turn to finally show that he has surpassed him to Sasuke and to everyone.

3. Itachi also said that he leaves Sasuke to NARUTO, not Naruto and Sakura or team 7.

4. What itachi meant by not forgetting his allies, was already beautifully shown when all the allied shinobi forces fought against tobi and madara. then during their fight with Kaguya team 7 fought together, I think it is enough now and it is time for Naruto to finally beat Sasuke just as he always wished.

5. If their has had to be coming in between the fight then why not Hogoroma who certainly has the power to do so stop the fight, why not let kakashi enter the fight from the beginning, why make Sakura say that she knows she can't do anything much to stop the fight.

 

Sakura intervening in this fight will be dissappointing on a whole another level.

Well it does seems like she loves Sasuke unconditionally. Sakura was about to be killed by Sasuke, then she was also called useless and demeaned by Sasuke but still the only way Sakura found out of stopping Sasuke was to confess to him with Naruto right there. If she had even a bit of romantic feelings for Naruto and she knows Naruto has feelings for her she wouldn't have confessed in front of him at least. Her words were as transparent as Air i.e. "I LOVE YOU". I don't think Sakura is so stupid that she can't find any other words to convince Sasuke to stop. And as far as the old days thing goes it was in additiong to I LOVE YOU. Why couldn't it be just the old days statement? Because she wanted a last shot at Sasuke to see if he loves her.

Above one was my interpretation and until and unless she says otherwise I don't think I will just consider Kakashi's words as the will of Sakura.

 

 

Maybe because Hinata herself admitted that she was selfish to Naruto while confessing to him. Meanwhile, Sakura's confession in the LOI arc was done solely for Naruto AND only Naruto, so that she could protect him. She wasn't thinking about Sasuke at all during that time. And please, like people have said before, most of the individuals in this fandom treat Hinata like this goddess who can do no wrong, while Sakura is this "b*tch" who always hurts Naruto's feelings. And finally, maybe the confession in 693 wouldn't have happened in the first place if Naruto had finally manned up for once and told Sakura about his true feelings for her

This is the kind of people I have created this topic for. You guys just put Sakura above anyone, including Naruto. You guys are saying naruto should have manned up and confessed, but how the hell could he????

Naruto knows Sakura loves Sasuke, he has noot been given any proof that Sakura has started to love him romantically. For all he knows is she have accepted him as very good friend. Didn't you read this example "You have a very good friend and love that friend of opposite gender who you know have had feelings for someone else in the past and highly possibly still harbours feelings for them. Just as you are starting to think that MAYBE I should tell her how I feel, she/he confesses right in front of you to that other person. Will you still confess?"

Atleast I can never do it. I don't know maybe many deperate or over confident males can might do it, but not atleast 75% of males will be able to confess under such conditions.

Confessing to someone in itself is quite a difficult task, and to top it of you want him to confess when he knows that she loves Sasuke and have seen her cry huge tears during the POAL and when Sasuke was in the hospital. Noone can easily forget such things no matter how much happy go lucky they show themselves.

 

Not only this now she has done the confession in 693 people still want him to confess. We all saw back in part 1 that Naruto always hid his feelings whenever he saw Sakura get close to Sasuke and that's what he did in chapter 693. When Sakura confessed he remained quite because who is he to come between her romantic feelings. He cannot forcefully make her love him.

Love cannot only be expressed through words, it can be very nicely be expressed through actions and Naruto has done that beautifully over the time. His POAL, always encouraging Sakura etc. If Sakura didn't fall in love with him then what more can he do. Go and beg her to love him?

 

I don't know if Sakura faked that confession or not but it did damage the credibility of NS BIG time. IF this would have happened around the 500 mark just like chapter 540, it could have been overseen because their would have been time for clarifications, but now when their are 3 chapters left and no time for clarification, it is clear that Sakura still loves Sasuke, and if NS happens, it will happen because Sasuke rejected her.

 

You guys support Sakura blindly that you start disrespecting Naruto. All you see is Sakura can be happy with Naruto and not Sasuke, but after what Sakura did in 693, how the hell can Naruto believe that Sakura can love him romantically more than she loves Sasuke? 

 

Please guys try to think how Naruto confessing just after Sakura's confession to Sasuke will reflect upon him. I don't think it will show him in a respectful manner in any way.

FIrst of all sorry if this topic is in wrong thread because I was pretty confused about whether to put it in character thread or pairing thread(my post does contains pairing discussion).

 

I have seen many people here describing Hinata's confession as selfish. I don't understand why you guys think like that?

What Hinata did was to try save her love from getting possibly killed even if it meant she was going to die herself. She was sacrificing herself to save Naruto.

 

More importantly if you consider Hinata's confession selfish, how the hell in the world you guys consider Sakura selfless?

Sakura did a FAKE CONFESSION to Naruto. I don't know for sure that whether 693 was a real confession or not but if by any chance it wasn't it will once again show just how desperate and selfish Sakura can be. She used Naruto's pure selfless love towards her as a weapon against Naruto.

 

I don't have anything against Sakura but just as NH fans bash Sakura many guys here also does injustice to Hinata.

 

Also if you guys consider interpretaions by other people than the ones in a pairing(Sakura, Sasuke, Hinata, Naruto) canon than NS has definitely been shaken very much during the fake confession. If Yamato's unfinished sentence and Kakshi's interpretaion is canon than why not what Sai said. Sai clearly stated many times, which was also very well realised by Naruto during sakura's confession to him that Sakura loves Sasuke, Sakura loves Sasuke so much and so on atleast 4 times. I don't consider other people's interpretaions as canon facts and it would be nice if noone does.

 

The thing that will make any pairing canon is not what Kakashi, Sai or Yamato thinks about their feelings, but how the people involved feel about each other. For what I know their is still a huge chance that Sakura actually never developed even a hint of romantic feelings for Naruto and her confession in 693 was completely true.

 

Also when you guys say that Hinata is selfish or anyone else is selfish in context of love, then I must tell you that love is kind of SELFISH. That is why, people use 'I' in it. Only people in Naruto who have for sure shown completely selfless romantic love in Naruto are actually only NARUTO & JIRAIYA towards Sakura and Tsunade respectively.

So in the end the victory Naruto will get will seem somehow rushed as opposed to their earlier longer battle. The pairings will happen in the movie therefore not Canon. If naruto and sakura are together we probably will miss how naruto talked and was convinced that sakura didn't love sasuke romantically. NS will simply somehow JUST happen after sakura's confession in 693.

Seriously kishi nice work. I just hope any writers who write stories decide to write only if they are confident to give it a fair a justified ending, not a stupid rushed one. Seriously wasted so many years of my life to not be able to see a good ending for my favourite character.

I am not at all saying that NH should happen and not let Naruto become a silver medal. A silver medal is a silver medal and I don't want any of them to become a silver medal.

Hinata will be a silver medal for Naruto,, that's why Hinata needs to move on.

After 693, Naruto will also seem to be a silver medal for Sakura so he needs to find someone else as well.

 

The arguement is that Naruto or anybody else doesn't deserve to be a silver medal, but kishi's constant playing with the pairings has made characters as well as the pairings look very bad many times. Because of kishi's toying with the pairings atleast one person will become a silver medal(NS/NH) or a case of kitten(SS).

 

I just want that Naruto just doesn't go confess to sakura or accept Sakura's confession if it ever happens just moments after she confessed to Sasuke.  It will reflect really badly on him and it will contradict the fact that if Naruto was ready to be Sakura's puppy no matter if he loses his respect, then why not accept the confession she already made in Land of Iron. The answer is because Naruto knew then that she still hasn't gotten over her feelings for Sasuke and he didn't want to live a love life which was a lie. Sakura has to do serious work to make Naruto believe that she will/already has gotten over Sasuke to be with Naruto. But since the manga is nearing it's end I don't know when and how that will happen if Sakura didn't fall in love with Naruto all these 690 chapters.

Surely NS has got the maximum developments but kishi is unpredictable and I will never get my hopes above 50% for any pairing before it is canon. Sakura's ambiguous feelings towards sasuke has already led to destruction of a confession by her and then their was chapter 693. Even if kakashf tried to clear what she meant I only saw sakura saying I love you to sasuke. Other people's interpretation won't matter unless and until sakura says that her love for sasuke is not romantic herself their has truly been no moment which tells sakura has actually started loving naruto romantically and has stopped loving Sasuke in that way.

As far as the silver medal thing goes, if Sakura was indeed in love with sasuke till chapter 693 then naruto will seem like a second guy/rebound guy, who would never have been able to get sakura to love him unless sasuke told her to kitten off on her face, which he pretty much did in 693. If suddenly sakura now says I love you to naruto the same day she said I love you to sasuke, it will be very odd and unjustified according to me.

I still wish that if NS has to be end game, sakura will have to confess with her feelings completely resolved. Naruto shouldn't confess since he just heard sakura say I love you to sasuke and we all know naruto never tried to force his feelings on her and he won't confess until he believes sakura has gotten over sasuke. Many people here are Sakura fans and tend to forget how naruto suddenly confessing or accepting sakura's confession after her confession to sasuke will reflect so badly on him.

We clearly we are confused about these words that sakura told us. We cant call it a confession cuz there werent much romantic feelings in there . I loved u / i love u . Well now thats does make a difference in what she said . But as for now we cant do anything which is the truth....

First of all it is not about whether Sasuke said yes to her or not. The problem here is that Sakura is still in love with Sasuke after all this time and time spent with Naruto. Everyone has always known(excpet SS fandom) that Sasuke doesn't give a kitten about Sakura. But what we thought was that Sakura has developed romantic feelings for Naruto, which now has been proven to be completely false.

 

And do you really want that Sakura realise she has feelings for Naruto on the same day she confessed to Sasuke and also under a GENJUSTSU?

It will be really bad writing that she wasn't able to realise her feelings for Naruto when he was right beside her THE WHOLE DAMN TIME, but she realises it when Sasuke rejects her again and she is under a genjutsu. It will be unacceptable to me atleast. It will for surely make Naruto look like a second guy that Sakura jumped to Naruto because she realised she loves Naruto after getting rejected by Sasuke and also in a genjutsu.

someone who will only e bable to be with Sakura because she was denied by Sasuke twice now,

The many super Positive people here are making this ship sail and the people with their eyes open can easily sense that NS was given a big blow as well, because till now Sakura STILL loved Sasuke and now NS becoming canon cannot happen without Naruto looking like a second guy.

But seriously though.. I adore Sakura and everything. But this "I loved sasuke-Kun" bullsh** needs to stop. Please kishi, don't kitten this up & make it seem naruto is Sakura's silver medal.

According to me it is already kittened up now. Considering we are at the end of the manga their either will be a biggest unbeleivable stupid asspull which will make NS canon where Naruto will remain loking like backup plan/second guy or NS might just become canon forcibly, where Naruto will again be made to look stupid and a man in sselfless love without any self respect.
