I can't believe they told us to shut up about how chapter 699 and 700 didn't make sense and was a last minute retcon. But they think they are entirely justified in whining about this despite it being a possibility and a major plot point since the first chapter of this gaiden.

You know the sad thing is that they will forgive it as long as they think Sasuke and Sakura are going to have or have had sex.

Ok read that summary...Why was their a coup? Gaara by this point has been kazekage for years now and even by the start of shippuden he was we loved and respected by the majority of the village by age 15. He what 20 in this story and they are plotting a coup on him now? Also i think he falls in love wit the older sister. Wait why was she guarding her younger sister and not marrying gaara herself?

These novels are a disaster. Think about it each one of these where hitting some of the largest fanbases in Naruto: Kakashi, Shikamaru and Shika/Tema, Gaara, Sakura and SS, Konoha 11 in general, and the akatsuki fans. and all they have managed to do is piss each on of them off with these novels. The only one that hasn't caused a scandal as far as i know is the konoha one and that's because everyone has just decided to pretend it didn't exist. What are they thinking?

hahahaha !unfortunately, it isn't .... :/ They wouldn't make a movie AND a spin off about Hinata's dream . And if it was the case (because....well, SP ) We would see her everywhere with Naruto, being lovey dovey with naruto, spending time with naruto, making babies....Ahem...I'll be right back, I'm gonna puke.....and not something like Naruto being sad and never home, neglecting his kids etc...

Oh this ending was for hinata and it being all about hinata's dreams coming true (granted that's mainly her marrying Naruto and nothing else but besides that). The problem is the writer of the manga and the movie (or so they say) is kishi. Now kishi does not love hinata like SP or his editors do. He originally wanted to make the ending NS but he was told Sakura was unpopular, and what the fans really wanted was a nH/SS ending. So Kishi convinced by them that is what the fans wanted went through with a nH SS ending expecting the majority of the fans to love and the Last to be a huge financial success. You should know what happened instead. So now angered about his manga ad his reputation being destroyed does the only thing he can do write both pairing in a negative light.  

That never stopped them from enticing the NS fans with the fake NS previews among other misleads with TL. Who's to say theY learned from their mistake.

They may make ads and other stuff that imply/hint the this is an IT. So they can convince/lure in the fans that left to come back but they won't change it. Remember SP are in love with hinata and they're the reason she is so popular because of what they did to her in the anime. While the editors apparently spent 7 years trying to convince kishi to abandon sakura and make hinata the heroine and Naruto's love interest. S after all those years of work to make Hinata's dream com true you really think they are going to let kishi make either the gaiden or the movie hint towards a IT ending?

Are SP's just incapable of making Naruto's adult face anything other than uncanny valley? He looked that same in The Last.

...Honestly I don't like the gaiden. It's crap. But to be complete honest this chapter was the second best...decent...above average...tolerable let go with tolerable. The second  event that makes reading through it even tolerable in this gaiden. The other is the Naruto and Salad interactions.So i don't know how this one was the chapter that finally broke the camels back.

I'm bored so i'll make some prediction of what going to happen.

Naruto/Salad want to go and rescues Sakura while Sasuke just wants to go after Shin. He is chewed out by Salad for his indifference to her mother his wife being kidnapped.

Hopefully Naruto think this has gotten to hot and want to send salad and the fat filler home. Fat filler agrees but complain how she wasn't able to meet her sexy dad. Salad refuses to leave and want to help save her mother. so they relent and let Salad stay. Hopefully Fat filler still leaves though. 

Also Naruto comforts Salad promising they'll get her mother back and also makes excuses for how Sasuke is behaving. 

Sakura is eventually does the operation, and since she there tries to figure out information on these guys to help when Naruto and Sasuke come. She makes a discovery.

When Naruto and Sasuke come assuming she not under mind control or something she reveals it the big bad go further an explain everything. Then makes some speech about how peace has made the world complacent and he shall reignite conflict throughout the world.

The fight he is defeated.

Then in chapter ten we learn yes Salad is SS daughter. Then Sakura Salad and Naruto at least go home with Sasuke saying he will visit more often or something.

Guys, I have a question : Do you think that SP is putting less and less effort in doing a "good" animation because of the decreasing popularity of the anime ? I mean, it's been a while since the anime isn't in the top of the most viewed anime ranking there...

People have been complaining about SP's animation quality for years. But if your talking about even by their standard their has been a drop recently. Then remember they were hoping that The Last would be this great movie that would make them millions internationally. So they poured a lot of money into this movie hoping for every dollar the spend they would get $3 to $100 back in earnings. So they were willing to spend as much money as they could to make Hinata's movie as beautiful and overblown as they could make it because they thought they would get all that money back and more. Instead well your on this site. You should know it flopped and hard. So with the money lost from the last combined with the anime's ratings sinking like as stone in Japan since the ending. They are force to cut back to prevent themselves from sinking further into the red than they already have.

After all his bravado and talk about changing the system (along with Naruto), Sasuke is suddenly all about "top secret missions" and "ignorance is bliss". They really do want to erase everything from 698 and before from the story.

Yep. While could justify it as this Kaguya the biggest threat the world has ever known and it would be best to keep it secret. The problem is that what is the point of keeping it secret? Who in their right mind would want to be involved with anything involving Kaguya? Is their a cult out their that pins for the IT and believe team 7 stole true happiness from them, and wish to release Kaguya so they can return to the promise land or something? So all it goes to show is that despite the fact that both Sasuke and Naruto who originally talked about either a revolution to replace the ninja system or reforming the ninja system in the original story. That they have truly accomplish nothing and are just cogs in the machine now. What great heroes. Look at how little they have accomplish in their lives and how little they have affected the world. Well other than defeating Kaguya.

The Salad acts like Sakura overall and she's scary !? Really !? Kishi is drunk again and making stuff out of his ars    .

He originally went on about how basically Salad was a female Sasuke, but I guessed he switched. Either because she was to dull to be interesting like that or he needed to make her more like Sakura.

It says something when Naruto interacts and bonds better with some girl he clearly has never talk to that much. Than he does his own son. This is honestly the first time she felt like she could be Sakura's daughter to me. And this is the first time I slightly enjoy one of these chapter for any reason. Also I wouldn't mind if Naruto became Salad's teacher. This is the first time this story has had any life in it. I can't wait for the nH to start spin loops to explain why he didn't think of their goddess.

Well the chapter out summary:

First page first thought"The Seventh came to rescue us! Even for people like us he..." Why does chou chou not think Naruto would not save people from his village? Did She think that he was going to abandon them?

Apparently according to Kurama it has been a long time since Naurto has fought.

Wow Naruto comforted Salad and said that he would protect her... It is the first time that this has felt like Naruto.

So Naruto decides to take the kids with him because they would be better protected by the real him than by a clone. Also he brings up that Salad could meet her dad.

YES!!! Salad gave him the bento and he thought about team 7 not hinata. I'm so happy.

Naruto tells Salad about her dad better than Sakura did.... Which is not much of a feat mind you.

I actually like the bonding moment Salad and Naruto had in this chapter surprisingly

And Salad activates he sharingan because she is so overjoyed about finally being able to meet her dad....And he doesn't even recognize her in the slightest thinking that she is with Shin.

I still want to see what his comment will be about that god damn bento. Since it Salad that cares about the damn thing. Also it either Salad is an orichmaru experiment that Sakura raised or more likely Sasuke trying to scare off his daughter so she won't have to deal with the darkness of the uchiha.

Mr. Curiosity here. What exactly is the point of this stupid spin-off?
Of course the answer is milking the franchise until the end of time. But still all it's doing is adding manure on top of manure. You can't possibly hope to make money from manure.

They planned this back when they decided to make this spin off. When they thought everyone wanted nH and the fans would spend millions to support it. Once they realize the opposite kishi realized he got screwed over but still needs to make this sell so he can keep his job. He switch it from pandering by making Bolt main character for them despite not giving to kitten about nH to switching it to Salad so he could hopefully get people interest in the uchiha plot. Again. 

For one thing it got on toonami while Bleach went to adult swim and One Piece went to 4 kids. Meaning it was able to corner the American and therefore the international market. Since, in theory, Bleach was only seen by teenagers and adult. While One Piece was edited to make it 'kid friendly.'

Also, Naruto was a lot more engaging and draw viewers attention much quicker and keep them invested more than One Piece or Bleach did early on. One Piece was a slow build.

It didn't really have much competition on toonami. So, it quickly became its best and biggest show for years becoming the next Dragonball in the US.

It had decent action and morals to keep people interested in the story.

But most importantly the characters were likable and relatable enough that viewers got invested in the characters.

The reasons for its decline was people knew the giant filler arc was coming and lost interest. The problem was toonami was already in the red so when enough people stop watching Naruto filler arc it went down. It moved to Disney XD (cause disney thought it would be a money maker) which most people didn't watch before it was shuffled back to toonami/adultswim. During this people just started watching the anime online then reading the manga online.

People also didn't want to be associated with the weeboos, and the crazy obsessive toxic nH/SS pairing fans. So, if they continued to watch/read Naruto they did so in private. Since, those two group were so bad most anime fans turned their nose up at it. Also, most anime fans consider Naruto too well know and popular and would rather watch and discuss lesser known more obscurer anime so they could more elite about themselves compared to those peasants in the Naruto fanbase.

Also the editors constantly changing after the pein arc, the war arc itself, SP going all out with their desire to make Hinata Naruto's love interest at all cost, and general mismanagement as well as a decline in quality in both the manga and the anime.

That's too bad. Theres so much Naruto merchandise and they just want to add this bad ending to it. Not buying.

Remember, they believe that this is what the western fanbase more importantly the American fanbase wants. The entire ending happened because this is what the people at SP and SJ thought this is what the international fans more importantly the American fanbase wanted. So, of course they are going to ship as much as they can over. They have to make back the money they lost since the ending 'cause it's going into the red in Japan.
