Anyhow, next up is Sasuke Uchiha, design 1. And sorry in advance for how it looks... X-D Stupid scanner... BLEARGH...

What I was going for with Sasuke was basically following his return appearance in the Shippuden saga, and the fact he looks as if he is emulating his father Fugaku a bit as well as traditional wear of his clan. I added some... darker touches to reflect how Sasuke is when this design is in play.

The idea is that the Curse of Hatred piled on top of his jealousy and anger toward Itachi, Naruto, and everyone else who has been in his way has made Sasuke a bitter person when TDW begins. He's also been locked up frequently at Tsunade's request for his safety. Of course, Danzo wanted to kill him, but Tsunade wouldn't have any of it. So in short, Danzo would end up using Sasuke on heavy duty Root/Foundation-style missions, in the hopes he would die. I also would say Sasuke's look reflects that darkness he's been stuck in because of his anger at Naruto as well as the feelings of hate he feels for Danzo, even if he can't explain it at first.

The color scheme is very akin to what he has had in the past, but I added the lightning patterns on his pants for the factor of how he's focused a lot on Lightning-Style Jutsu after learning the Chidori from Kakashi. The sword he has is one that was forged from a piece of meteorite that fell to the Earth of a unique black metal, almost obsidian like.

I also imagined Sasuke's personality being that everyone he fights in TDW early on, he chooses not to spar them, feeling mercy is weakness, and that the weak must die, no matter what. It also is a means for him to steel himself for the opportunity he feels he will soon get to kill Itachi, and prove his superiority, and perhaps avenge his clan.

Hi, everybody. X-D God, I feel so old. But I will tell you this much, this has been something I have worked on over the years, even before the way the manga ended. So since I have been feeling very UNSATISFIED by the way the ending of the manga was rushed out like this, I have been working harder on it to maybe ease my heart.

But the basic idea for this topic is simple; this is to share the redesigns for this alternate universe story, showing the path of events if Naruto had succeeded in stopping Sasuke at the Final Valley and wound up returning him to the Hidden Leaf. There's gonna be all kinds of new designs I will work on, as well as new original characters.

As you may or may not expect, the first few are gonna be done for Team Kakashi's rookies, part of the new Leaf team, the Dirty Dozen, aka the Super Rookies. So we begin with our hero, Naruto Uzumaki;

When I was designing Naruto, the idea was to keep his aesthetic similar to Part 1 and Shippuden's aesthetics for him, so his clothes match his personality pretty well. The idea of how his coat was designed came from an old design I had done for him for TDW, with the basis being from Rock Howard in the Fatal Fury franchise by SNK. I also had thought of the color scheme of white, black, and orange based on Naruto's old coat, but also being inspired by Shippuden's coat.

I also had felt about trying to show Naruto is a bit flashier than most ninja around his age. Plus I wanted to have the backstory on the coat and the gloves be they were birthday gifts from Jiraiya while he was training under him whenever Jiraiya was in the Hidden Leaf Village passing info onto Tsunade about things he learned in the world

Story-wise, Naruto is about the same as you'd expect. Though, some differences revolve around his drive and motivation; rather than to keep his promise to Sakura to save Sasuke from his darkness, Naruto's drive to become stronger has motivated him to protect everything he can, and to NOT lose anything precious to him again, something Jiraiya has found admirable and also foolish since he'd wanted Naruto to write Sasuke off, same as he did with Orochimaru.

One big focus Demon Within has is gonna be on Naruto trying to get a grip on his feelings for Sakura, since he feels she still loves Sasuke and he wants to make her happy, even if not with him, since like I can be, he's too much of a people-pleaser and doesn't try to make himself happy. But of course, he'll come to realize he can't deny he loves Sakura, and that love story will be a part of the overall growth of his character as well as an underlining focus to help him be able to find something worth fighting for.

And another aspect is Naruto learning to control Kurama's chakra earlier due to an early arc, though I haven't designed Naruto with his Kurama cloak yet, since I want to try to design a basic version of it that would act as a kind of early version BEFORE we get that super epic badass version we saw in the war.

I know I am not the best artist in the world, guys, but I hope I did well enough, since really, my style is free-form, and free-form is not emulation, but really, it's trying to form one's own path. When I've drawn these, I used an ink pen along with paper from a sketchpad I have had older designs in but decided to launch new ones in. :) Enjoy! And BELIEVE IT!!!

NaruSaku is canon to me! Always will be! Honestly, Lady GT's artwork will always seem more legitimate than anything Kishimoto might publish that is NaruHina. They just don't mesh together. Naruto and Sakura together just seems so right, like they were always meant to be. NaruHina just looks wrong, NOT right. Like he's cheating on his actual wife. Even if NaruHina does happen, I won't accept it as fact. NaruSaku will always be #1 to me <3 

I agree, guys. Best to keep it in our hearts. :) If we don't, we'll crumble

I just has an interesting idea, guys. What if someone wrote a Naruto fanfic where the whole story was reverted to Part 1 and told in a different direction, but with knowledge of what would happen to an extent? Like what Mortal Kombat 9 did, but perhaps with less tragic circumstances? Like, some kind of threat occurs in the future of the canon that causes some kind of random space-time ninjutsu to send memories and knowledge back to the past? Anyone on board for that?

Choji and Ino

Seems pretty considerate of Choji's desires for a girl whose so fixated on dieting and thinness to win the affections of a crush. Not only that, the blush was real after all. He seems pretty ecstatic to have Ino providing him food - almost reminiscent of Choji's Tsukuyomi dream where a girl was admiring and encouraging him for his love of eating.

I also loved Choji in the dub when he saw Ino. "Awright! A pretty girl with food! This must be my LUCKY DAY!!!".

Since you guys bring those moments, I remembered this one

 

More Nardo blushing because of Sakura

One of the cuter blushes. Though my favorite goes to Sakura when Naruto gets his headband back from Zabuza.

Right! But it's also funny how they'll claim that what Naruto feels for her is nothing more than a crush and childish at that. Claiming that he ONLY likes her because she's attractive but that's insulting because IMO Naruto has never been that shallow. It might have started out with a physical attraction but that wasn't all it was throughout the series. Its just mind boggling how some of them actually think when it comes to NS.

It's simple fear is what it is, Strider. They know the facts are there in NaruSaku's favor, so NaruHina fans worry and try to think stuff that will help them feel better. Sure, there's ben SOME NaruHina hints, but NOTHING like NaruSaku by a long shot. Especially since with Hinata, she doesn't have the kind of faith in Naruto Sakura has shown to have.

Oh, yeah! X-D I got stuff of cuteness to share, folks!

I'm having the worst week of my life, not only because of NH stuff and Naruto ending but also some other things in my life errrr I need NS to be canon to cure my sadness. I need something positive.

Just keep on believing.

You guys have no idea how happy I am that I became a NS shipper, I love the narusaku bond, SS and NH may have some nice panels at times, but it's got nothing on the long term development and friendship/love of the NS ship.


I'm just feeling oddly happy right now.

I also think that he wouldnt confess sakura as he is aware of sakuras feelings . Well it all started with her feelings and i believe it will end there.
I thought that the ova can be really a good solution but as sasuke and naruto are there together. I dont think that this is gonna be simple. I guess it is all on sasuke. I personally think that sasuke is the one that will make sakura realize her true feelings after all.

Exactly what I was thinking, but I also think too in the years since it's set 3 years after said battle at the Final Valley  that Sakura begins to think more on how Naruto, as she put it in the dub, "more than anyone else" has understood her and how he'd always been there to help her when she needed it, which begins to change her feelings to love gradually at the time the AU is set, since it is following a different path.

I answered this once before. It's really simple why I like NaruSaku; the DEVELOPMENT. Even for someone who claimed to hate Naruto without knowing who he really was early on, Sakura sure showed a lot of moments where she felt her heart race because of him, or where he showed her the REAL him, like when he wanted his headband back from Zabuza, or asking for her help when learning how to tree climb, as well as how she just had that smile when Sasuke told her that Naruto saved her from Gaara. 

It was just that one first spark of seeing that from the first arc with Zabuza that made me think "You know, even if Sakura is obsessed with Sasuke, it seems to me like Naruto is more of a fit for her since he actually cares, and in spite of what she thinks and feels, she cares about him a lot too." And y'know what? I was right.

Even if we've been trolled so much these last few years, in spite of lack of consistency, I still think that in the end, Naruto is meant to be with Sakura, as is the other way 'round. Considering they both have supported each other so much, and Sakura's even admitted that more than anyone else, Naruto has understood her and helped her when she needed it the most, even putting his life on the line for her. Even if he's too damn dumb to realize her feelings for him have changed to love, deep down, he will realize sooner or later even if he acts like he doesn't want to be with her, he still can't let go of his feelings for her.

Holy crap its only been two days and it alrady feels like a week, were not even halfway through this sh*tstorm
