It wasn't just the crappy ending. LadyGT was bullied by rabid fans who hated NaruSaku and her art. Also, she felt really disappointed when the author himself talked BS about the pairings. You know, red herrings, Sakura being a terrible woman if she forgot about Sasuke, every contradiction... It just didn't feel right anymore. I mean, she spent years following this series, improving her Naruto's drawing style and defending her OTP, just to get this in the end.

She decided to move on and I can't blame her for that. Boruto sucks.

Of course it sounds interesting. It's Naruto's sequel, for Hashirama's sake! A masterpiece made by Kishimoto. Therefore, it's absolutely flawless and cool, right?   

Nah, but seriously, we've got more forced BS, flat characters and an empty story. They don't even try, since they just need to say is Naruto's succesor in order to gain fans and SJW protecting this "art". And we have someone here who proves my point.

That's right. After Naruto's ending we had tons of trolls making fun of us and NS. They even took screenshots of our complains and shared them in their own forums. That was really sad. 

Well, not necessarily. The manga version and anime version of the motto are different, so I wanted to point that out. I suppose I should be more descriptive and give more context.

You see, I used to be in the Bleach fandom, and occasionally on Tumblr I would see Bleach posts that were about Naruto, as well. That’s when I started to get interested in Naruto. I had only seen bits and pieces at the time, but I figured that since the two series were compared a lot, I should check it out.

I heard it ended a few years back at the time, so I decided to see the series finale. I thought it was The Last, so I watched that, and then I went on Tumblr to see what other people thought of it. It was mostly anti posts saying “This was so kitten” or “NaruSaku should’ve been canon”, and I was like “What is NaruSaku?” So I did some research, and the more research I did and the more moments I saw, the more I got into it, and I was like, “Wow, this really should’ve happened.” Then it became my ultimate OTP.

As long as she thinks she's right, she won't leave this place. Even if her obsession to quote and disagree with every single post is getting annoying. 

 

Mainly just countering generalizations here:

 

SP did fanservice for everyone. I don't know why Hinata always gets singled out. I still hold that Team 8 still has the worst filler I've ever seen.

 

And some fans self-insert from all shipping groups, I wouldn't caricature it the way you do, it's just what fans do.

Respecfully, read every single answer that this entire forum has given to you. I'm quite sure they had answered this several times already =)

I'm sorry, I hope this isn't rude, but there are parts of this debate that are pointless.

I'm sorry but none of the ships made sense in the end. This includes NaruSaku.

If NaruSaku had remotely made sense, why is the fandom so split then? Why are are we so widely divided between NaruSaku vs. NaruHina and SasuSaku?

I agree with Analyzer, in a sense.

For me, Kishi's biggest mistake was the love triangle. It was prolonged to the point where every ship had a chance for credible endgame.

At the top of my head, I can recall three points where NaruSaku had the opportunity to be "endgame" without actually being endgame.

Both NaruHina and SasuSaku aren't some loud minority; there is a reason why the NaruHina fandom suddenly grew in size after 436 and 615, and why SasuSaku remained dominate even with Part 2. Kishi gave them ammo just like he gave us ammo with NaruSaku.

Of course NaruSaku is the only ship of those three that makes sense. Why are we so divided? SIMPLE: SP made Hinata a goddess by adding tons of fillers and fanservice. And then we have Sasuke, who's your typical cool-sexy-anti hero. NaruHina was widely popular even before Hinata's confession. And a large part of this fandom wanted to see their bad boy being happy, so he better get laid with the girl who's madly obssessed in love with him.

Oh! I almost forgot about our classical self inserts:

Hinata: Shy girl who wins her beloved's heart after struggling a lot/being ignored.

Sakura: Average good girl that ends up with the cold guy

Naruto: The lucky guy who gets a big breasted-sweet-perfect woman

Sasuke: The bastard cool guy who has every single girl -and boys- going nuts for him

That's it. Popularity. It doesn't change the fact that NaruSaku was the most developed couple and has every sense to be canon.  

When you-know-who eventually gets banned or finally stop with this eternal I'm right-Y'all wrong nonsense, I'm hoping for a big party in plug.dj. Anyone up? 

Jokes aside -or not?- What's the use of debating? I mean, Kishimoto is right. HE'S ALWAYS right. He's the freaking creator! It's not like he's a human being who can make mistakes like adding plotholes, shoe-horned characters, OOC fest, crappy endgame shippings or something like that, right?  
 

And let's not forget about all this Taiora tease they had in the first movies. If Meiko was gonna be the one for him, then what's with the pointless red herring? I hope we don't get Sora encouraging Meiko to confess her feelings (?)

I somewhat interested in who is writing these movies, and if any of the writers are girls. I kind of want to see what they look like because I think Meiko existence will be completely clear after that (self-insert character.) 

 

Izzi, and Mimi are fine to be honest. I rather a scene focus on them then another about Meiko.

 

Sora became a traditional Japanese girl while Mimi went to America. From what I've seen from Japanese media over the years, and from what people have said about it. It is tradition if a girl shows interest in boyish hobbies when she is young, that as she grows up abandon them, and become more womanly. While when Japanese girl that go to America and come back are expected to have become more...outgoing... out-spoken... pronounced... Whorish.

It's just really sad they had to put a new girl just to be Tai's consolation prize. What's wrong with him being alone? And why do we have a shipping fest to begin with? Digimon was more about adventures and... I don't know... Digimons? Not some forced drama about teenagers and their feelings xD Nothing wrong with that if you know how to put it AND if it doesn't take that long, but this is just plain boring. Meiko has no reason to exist, seriously. Put Meicoomon on it's own or with a male digi-destined and there would be no difference at all (plot wise talking) 

 We all knew that this would happen.

 

But if you see the other way right now Tri is most focus in IzzixMimi as shipping, so the writing of the Meichi is rush and bad, but fair I mean they won't confess each other in the story, but because Tai  help the girl from there will be the couple out the story .

 

I thought Mimi was the fanservice and the moe 

Yeah, we knew, but that doesn't excuse this mess. I don't ship them either, but at least Mimi and Izzi have known each other since they were kids and had tons of hints since the first movie. This Meichi came out of nowhere. 

Sora was the tomboy and Mimi was the fanservice moe character, but they changed in 02/Tri. With Sora being more girly and Mimi being sassier. Like Bail said before, Meiko is just bland/cute/shy/weak and is used just for drama/ship. 

And of course, Tai is the closest to try to catch her. Pfff, at this point Meiko is just your typical moe/fan service character, especially if she actually ends up with him.

My wish got true. a less Tsundere and more tender Misty toward Ash.

 

 

Actually, Misty became more tender and less tsundere since Johto arc. There was mutual respect between them at that point =)

Aww, so Misty lost as expected against MC Powers, but at least Brock won and we got some epic/cute scenes <3
