I have no idea, but if I remember in the episode that had Hinata confess her love for Naruto, and then the forced back story with her getting picked on oddly by three bullies, the same as Sakura's back story with her getting bullied. Anyway, from what I remember, and this was a long time ago, but SP did work far better on Hinata's episodes or anything that had her play big moments.

The actual episode goes like this:

• The whole episode was about Hinata and her confession
• The team added a filler flashback on how she fell in love with Naruto when she was being picked on by three kids and he "tried" to save her, mind you, that back in Part 1, the Hyuga family was basically royalty.
• Speaking of the royalty status, the only thing was correct was Hiashi mistreated her because of her shy personality. But because they want her to be interesting to the audience, they ignored Sakura's situation of being bullied because of her forehead and give Hinata a situation of her being bullied by others, which was downright stupid in both the kids and in the writer's perspective.  Why would you write about that for her when she was supposed to be royal status for the Leaf?
• Did I mentioned that she had a lolicon design as a child?
• Then the unnecessary "determine to save Naruto" fight scene with the "Sailor Hinata hair" animation because the one-hit KO from Pain in the manga most likely pissed off the Hinata fandom at Studio Pierrot and want her to look pretty while being beaten up. 

So SP use the animation resources to make sure Hinata looks as gorgeous as possible for her episode. And when we get to the actual hyped episode of Naruto (Tailed-Beast 5-6 Mode) Vs. Pain, well.. you guys saw what happened.

Also, I mentioned before but have you noticed on The Last, it is very similar to that flashback.

Why are NH fans even remotely surprised that she prioritized her sugar daddy over her child?  This is the same woman who tried to gaslight her son on his birthday by stating that her husband was allowed to be negligent because he had a terrible childhood and called him a "burden" that Naruto didn't need to deal with. And told her the same twelve year-old son to protect his father, even though Naruto's a freakin' demigod at this point. And was the one who was willing to leave her sister in the clutches of an enemy over knitting a damn scarf just win over the object of her obsession.  Or forgot that her cousin freakin' died to protect her before his corpse even cooled because Naruto was holding her hand.

 

I mean, Hinata's not just a horrible mother, she sucks as a family member on all fronts.

Its not that he didn't had a Moment is just he is generally unimportant/unfocused on especially in the sequel era.

 

Remember Kiba was a joke by the end as Naruto;s completely ignored and forgotten rival, Tenten is so unimportant we don't even have complete confirmation she Lee's wife and just runs a unless weapon shop, and Choji is normally just the father of Fat Filler via crack pairing.

The smart move the way I see it is to end Boruto in whatever way doesn't really matter, leave it for some years in order for people to not have as strong feelings towards it as they do now, to forgot a little bit about it. Then announce a movie. I say a movie because they need something big and also small enough to get people hyped for it. Coming out with a manga or anime continuation won't have the same effect. Plus I've always believed that the best way is to redo the Naruto vs Sasuke fight. Why that point? Well because no one will ever reboot the whole series or start somewhere at the halfway point. That's just too much to erase. But mainly because having a fight especially a good animated one on the big screen with those two will be the big thing that they need.

 

I rather redo the whole Ninja War arc starting from the end of the Pain Arc. The whole situation, (exclude Naruto meeting Kushina) was a hot mess that even affected the hyped Naruto Vs. Sasuke Part 2 fight. Do a number of changes and do it ala Mortal Kombat 9's plot (without majority of the good guys died at the end).

I doubt Kishi or SP will ever admit they did something wrong, they will just continue will nothing happened. At best we might get a comment like "what we did back then was good for the times, but now we're excited about the new material" when they will announce a remake.

I'm convinced one day they will redo it, when? I don't know. Maybe Kishi won't even be around for it. Or even us.

Oh, Masashi will definitely come running whenever money involve. So if anyone convince him to redo the series that will potentially make more money, he will jump ship. The only suggestion he needed is to get better editors and assistants that don't put in their two cents.

With Studio Pierrot however, that might be a different story unless they pull many workers that was working on the franchise either fired or moved them to a different project. I see this happened all the time.

That's what I'm talking about. Where did the obsession come from with SP. The NH fans have an excuse, but what about SP? 

Because when they began portraying Sakura in a bad light, especially when treating Naruto for comedic purposes. Not to mention they sexualized Hinata way back with the filler when she was training naked under a waterfall and had Naruto mesmerized in the background (really, not cool as they were minors!)

What I'd like to know is where this obsession with Hinata even came from with SP. She was never that interesting and she didn't appear for at least a year or two into the manga. She got her ass handed to her by Neji, then disappeared until Shippuden if I recall correctly. 

I assume you forgot about Part 1 with the fillers and the unnecessary "beyond the tsundere-trope" with Sakura.

The wedding pics at the end of the credits was so cute! 

Don't get me started with the Hot Springs episodes! 

New ship for me, even though this game made them so obvious:

Alphen x Shionne from Tales of Arise! So many damn moments of these two, it is not even funny! From interpreting the royal owls, to their skit of describing their future perfectly until realizing what they were describing in their dreams in sync (after when Shionne made a double enterdre: "... do you wanna make something together?" Alphen's mind: Wait, she want babies?!!!!)

I'm 75% done of the main game so I'm aware of their wedding at the end.

Honestly, I think this would be the best time for someone to write a letter to Shounen Jump explaining; why Naruto is no longer successful and what made it successful. As they are clearly questioning it themselves.

We clearly need someone (and a translator for WSJ because that need to go over there so they can immediately know) and make sure that it is not under false pretenses about the issue with the franchise. They shouldn't be questioning about its fate, especially for a long-running one. They should immediately take action if they want money from consumers.

So now, they are making Amy more tsundere. Better than the whole obsession route that started in Sonic Heroes.
