He fought DMS kabuto before taking on the jubbito(Stronger than Madara) and with Naruto took it down. I am not saying Sasuke is on Madara's level but its not like this was a fair fight, yes Madara is blind but he is also 100% fully rested.
To tell you the truth what really annoyed me was Orochimaru's line "Sasuke has the potential to surpass Madara" to which I was like "Yeah right that's complete bs". Now it's truth that Sasuke is still young and doesn't have the battle experience that Madara has but to say that Sasuke can surpass Madara is laughable. And this is based upon everything we saw until this point. If I'm not mistaking Sasuke has only own two fights in his life the one with Yoroi and the one with Naruto, the rest of his fights he either gets his ass saved by someone or the plot demands for him to "win" the fight even though it's obvious that he was completely outmatched. With Madara we saw that he is really strong and the only one that can defeat him is Hashirama. And in this war Madara was just toying around with everyone, he never took it seriously. Only now we're going to see what he is really capable of, hopefully he doesn't disappoint.

Of course, but the means of getting the souls out of the Death Reaper was only discovered by the Uzumaki clan. I am sure that they tried hiding this fact of what they found which explains why noone, but Orochimaru who was obsessed with learning everything, could find it.
You do realize that you're making excuses for Kishi's bad writing, right?

To be honest I really hope this war ark comes to an end soon. It's been over 100 chapters since this bloody war started and it's boring, annoying, dull and repetetive. For example how many times did Obito say the world will end and Naruto saying the world won't end?
At the end of the previous chapter when I saw Kurama combining with Susanno I face palmed because I saw the foreshadowing when Madara did it and I was hoping it's just Kishi showing how much of a bad-ass Madara is, and I was really hoping Sasuke and Naruto will not combine forces because that will make Sasuke "good", remember Sasuke wanted to destroy Konoha back then.
Moving along to this chapter now I can't take the rookies seriously anymore, they were laughable. They were really minions. Naruto basically looked at them and said "Hmm what can these weaklings do to help? I now I will create 9 Rasengans then I will put my minions to push them into the shield." I'm glad that Sakura wasn't part of it. But enough complaining, what I really liked about this chapter was how Kurama looked with that Susanno armor, for the first time since we saw the Tailed Beasts, I can actually call this thing a Beast.

That girl has a one track mind, its getting sort of annoying.
It's getting sort of annoying? It began to be annoying years ago.
But it's expected because this has and most likely always be Hinata's character "Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun" and middle finger to everyone else. It's all that she has, it's sad but hey what can you do?

Really boring chapter. Also Sasuke has the potential to surpass Madara, yeah right. So the guy who got humiliated by Bee, ended the fight between him and Deidara with a draw but Deidara decided to blow himself up and Sasuke only managed to survive because well he is an Uchiha therefore he always wins. Then barely survived the fight he had with Itachi even though Itachi was sick not to mention the fact that Itachi controlled the entire fight. Then at the Kage summit Sasuke got his ass owned by the Kages. So yeah Sasuke really has the potential to surpass even the Rikudou Sennin even the God Tree.
So get ready Ladies and Gentlemen for some major asspulls in the future because they're coming.

@HauntedCake It's not the fact that Naruto didn't get the message. He got the message when Hinata confessed, he just doesn't view her in that light. And some people need to accept that and stop making excuses. Like Naruto is to stupid to understand Hinata's feelings or Naruto already is in love with Hinata or that he will fall for her at one point and any other excuse you can think of.

This is exactly it. This was a way to close (or enter the final stages of wrapping of) both Neji and Hinata's characters. Hinata's speech revolved around Neji and Naruto's nindo, and I think Hinata was the best person to talk to Naruto about both of these things. It in no way makes Hinata the heroine, especially after Kishi specifically stated in an interview that Sakura was the heroine, despite other fans thinking Hinata might be a better one.
As much as I hate 615 because Naruto's character was degraded in order to make Hinata look good, a character had to die in order for Hinata to get her shining moment and on and on. I agree Hinata was the best person to give that speech. Because Hinata is the one in love with Naruto's nindo. She knows nothing about him expect that he never gives up.

but what about Naruto's life and what about Naruto's feelings .? Naruto had a worser life than Sasuke , at least Sasuke actually seen his mom and probably dad for some years , at least he had recognition and wasn't suffering from lonliness . And last Hinata's infatuation with naruto should not even be compared to Naruto's TRUE FEELINGS OF LOVE . Naruto deserves his happiness (being Hokage and getting Sakura) and to be honest and no bashing but Sasuke needs to kill himself and Hinata needs to get a life .
I'm sorry but do you really believe this story is about Naruto? What are you high? Let me tell man it's not about Naruto, it's about Sasuke being the best and restoring his clan and this story also has a love part. The romance in this story is about the most beautiful fairytale princess the world has ever seen Hinata Hyuga and she must defeat the evil witch of the story Sakura Haruno in order to win the heart of some guy called Naruto.
Sorry about that but I needed to do that. The problem is the majority of fans actually think like that, of course I've exaggerated but you get the idea. Now I'm not saying all the NH/Sasuke fans are like that but the ones that I've encountered are pretty close to the exaggeration that I've made above.
Yes, I don't blame them for wanting the best for their favorite characters--there's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes the way they act is just a bit... much. They certainly are the louder parts of the fandom that's for sure hahaha.
There is nothing wrong with wanting the best for your favorite character. That's understandable. But I've never understood the Hinata fans, instead of wanting her to grow up and be a great ninja, be awesome etc. they want her to get Naruto which means absolutely nothing for her character. As for the Sasuke fans well they are just .
So by their arguments we could safely say that Naruto deserves Sakura and the Hokage seat ,because hm lets see , not only was she loathed and despised from the villagers but he didn't have one friend . I'm starting to see a skewed pattern here ,
Hinata loved Naruto from behind a tree ,but did she do anything to save him from his despair then? Nope.
For them it doesn't matter that Hinata did nothing for Naruto when he was alone. When I told them about this, they said that I'm a hater and an idiot and I don't understand Hinata's character.

It actually has begun.
Let me enlighten you!
Apparently we lost our biggest argumentOkay so I don’t know if y’all caught this, but NaruSaku fans always go on and on about parallels, so let’s draw one here.
They usually compare Sakura to Kushina, saying they are the same. Despite the fact that Naruto isn’t really like Minato personality-wise, they still claim the parallel fits perfectly.
On these two pages, Minato compares Naruto to Kushina. A parallel is made, comparing Naruto to his mother (Kushina) as opposed to Sakura being compared to Kushina.
If you would like to draw parallels, then it’s safe to assume that in the paralleled relationship that Naruto is expected to have, Naruto will be the brash and bold one, since he is being compared to Kushina. Because of that, his partner will have to be the sky and quiet one.
Also, Minato was inspired by Kushina’s look of determination and apparant confidence in the ability to do anything. The same way that Hinata is inspired by Naruto in his confidence and determination to never give up. Minato is inspired by Naruto in the same way.
And, for the first time, NaruHina takes over the MinaKush parallel, and the NaruSaku fans lose one of their biggest arguments.
Oh God. Not this again. What is so difficult to understand that Naruto is a combination between Minato and Kushina. He is not 100% like Minato and he is not 100% like Kushina, he gets traits from both of his parents. The Sakura-Kushina parallel still stands strong.

I have a question for all of you. Is there a another "Naruto" manga that I'm not aware of? Aren't we all following the same story?
I say this because I've been reading comments on the viz forum and I feel like I'm following a different story. So aren't we all following the story in which Naruto is like Minato and Kushina (he is a combination between them) and Sakura is like Kushina, and Hinata is nothing like Kushina or Minato. And Naruto is attracted to Sakura not Hinata, and Sakura doesn't trust Sasuke and on and on. Or am I just delusional? And none of those things are in the story.

Guys and girls of course, I'm still alive and I've posted my newest rant under Icha Icha Narusaku. It's called "My rant 2.0". Hope you enjoy it.
#485769 My Rant 2.0

I'm back everyone. And here is my latest rant, the one that I promised a long time ago. Why didn't I post this sooner? Well s*** happens. But better late then never, right? Anyway enjoy.
So we meet again apparently my ultimate rant wasn’t enough for you, so welcome to my second rant.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about or don’t know where you’ll find my first rant, well that’s easy you either go to the Narusaku-Sasusaku-Naruhina Debate Central thread from the viz forum and go to page 194 and you will find it there or you can go to this link http://chatte-georgi...e-wise-narusaku But I have to warn it’s very long. Now it’s not necessary to read my first rant but I highly recommend it in order to better understand things.
The things I’m about to say now connect with what I previously said. You could say this rant is an add-on. Rant 2.0.
Now every time I go on a forum or YouTube I always see people talking about how great Hinata is and how amazing she is and the things she does are the work of a goddess, pretty much she is the best thing in “Naruto” greater than the main character himself. “Naruto” will not exist without Hinata, she is the foundation upon which the story is created. The same people say that Sakura is useless, that she gets in Hinata’s way that she keeps hitting Naruto and she is just a b*tch that must die.
Basically when Hinata does something her moments are exaggerated beyond belief and when Sakura does something she either gets ignored or bashed or her moments are reduced to nothing by these people.
Let’s see if Hinata deserves all the praise and Sakura all the hate. Now I’m going to look at some of their moments not all of them, since I’ve covered some of them in my first rant. As I said this is an add-on to my original work, I’m going to talk about things I missed in my first rant and things that I discovered after I posted my rant.
Let’s start with Hinata’s fight with Neji. We all know that she lost the fight and Neji was just toying around with her. Now I’m not going to focus on the fight but rather the reason Hinata decides to fight. Before the fight starts Neji tells Hinata that she is a loser, she’s pathetic, she’s weak and she should give up. Neji also says that people who are born losers will always be losers that they can’t change. Pretty much Neji insulted her and others as well. Here is the interesting part after hearing all that Hinata doesn’t want to fight at all she looked like she was about to faint. Naruto intervenes and tells her to stand up for herself after this Hinata decides to fight. Now she didn’t decide to fight because she wanted to prove to Neji that people can actually change and his view on others is wrong. She decides to fight because she didn’t want to look uncool in front of Naruto. She even admits this later on. I admire the fact that she fought against someone more powerful than her but the reason she decides to fight no.
Instead of trying to save Neji from the path he is on (something that Naruto did later on) she didn’t want to look bad in front of Naruto.
Let’s move on to Sakura. I’ve seen people commenting on her fight with Sasori that her fight wasn’t really a fight because Sasori let himself be killed. That’s partially true. In the end Sasori did let himself be killed but from the beginning of the fight Sasori did everything he could to kill Sakura and Lady Chiyo. He threw his best techniques at them and still he couldn’t kill Sakura or Chiyo.
Now in chapter 383 Naruto get kicked in the head by Tobi and Hinata instantly looks at Naruto and says her famous one-liner “Naruto-kun”. Now Sakura owns Hinata in this chapter by telling her that Naruto’s fine and she should keep her eyes on the enemy. Sakura demonstrates that she knows Naruto better than Hinata but also because she didn’t took her eyes of the enemy she is the one that discovered how Tobi’s technique works, something that I talk about later.
Let’s take a look at moment that made Hinata legendary the reason why people see her as the goddess of the universe, the one that can do no wrong. And that moment is when Hinata “saved” Naruto, aka chapter 437. Now I’ve already talked about this moment in my first rant so I’m just going to add a couple of small things I’ve missed the last time. Hinata jumps in the fight between Naruto and Nagato (Pein), she confesses her love for Naruto and decides to charge against Nagato and gets herself “killed”. So does she really deserve all the praise for doing literally nothing? A lot of people claim that Hinata saved Naruto in this moment. So where is Hinata saving Naruto? I admire the fact that she had the courage to intervene but what she did is stupid. She saw the entire fight between Naruto and Pein from beginning to the moment she intervened. So can someone please tell me why did she decide to go on the offensive against Nagato? When she saw how powerful he is and she even admits that she doesn’t stand a chance against him. Seriously she saw her entire village get destroyed with one move then she saw that only Naruto can fight on equal terms with Pein and then instead of actually helping Naruto she decides to fight Pein on her own. She went there confessed her love and committed suicide that’s it.
She had no plan at all she didn’t even try to help Naruto. Because if she really wanted to help Naruto she had two option. The first one was to find a person (anyone or even multiple people) go to Naruto, tell that person to distract Pein for a couple of seconds while she frees Naruto from the ground. Or even the vice versa Hinata distracts Pein while the other guy/girl helps Naruto.
Her second option was to go to Naruto by herself if she really wanted to play the hero and create a small distraction. Before I talk about the distraction, I want to say this Hinata is a Chuunin right? Now one of the requirements of becoming a Genin is you need to be able to create one clone not three million like Naruto does, just one. So why didn’t Hinata use a clone to distract Pein while the real one helps Naruto?
Or again vice versa Hinata takes care of Pein while the clone helps Naruto. So why didn’t she do that?
And before you say that it wouldn’t work against Pein because he is too strong. I would remind you this strategy has been proven to work against him a couple of chapters before 437. Using a clone as a distraction Konohamaru managed to defeat one of the Peins. Konohamaru created a clone of himself as a distraction while the real one attacked Pein. If a child that is on the same level of intelligence as Naruto, managed to use a clone as a diversion why didn’t Hinata do the same thing?
Seriously it wasn’t that difficult nor did it require the intelligence of a rocket scientist. But what can you expect this is the female character that Kishi created a female character with big boobs and no brain. Some would say the perfect female.
She didn’t have to attack Nagato just create a diversion to help Naruto. I mean she said she loves Naruto, so why doesn’t she help the kid? Going there and confessing her love doesn’t help Naruto and it doesn’t help Nagato with his question. It only helps Hinata because she finally had the courage to tell Naruto how she feels. Again I say I admire the fact that she had the courage to go to the battlefield and I admire that she finally had the guts to tell Naruto how she feels, I truly admire that but what she did after is stupid. Keep in mind that when I’m talking about these moments I’m only using the information that we got in that particular moment in time. I’m not using the information we know now because that will be an argument after the fact which automatically is false.
One thing I keep hearing is that Hinata sacrificed her life for Naruto, really? Do you even know what sacrifice even means? It means you give up on something that you either have or want in order for someone else to be either happy or safe. So I ask you where is the sacrificing part in 437? Because all Hinata did was go there tell Naruto that she could’ve saved him from the loneliness from the very beginning but she couldn’t be bother to do that then she told him she loves him then she committed suicide. Hinata could’ve been the first one to save Naruto from the loneliness but she decided not to bother with him. And before you say “Well she is just shy” I’m sorry but that excuse doesn’t work she didn’t have to go to Naruto and confess her undying love her him no, the only thing she had to do was to go to him and hangout with him. No one stood in Hinata’s way, no one stopped her from getting close to Naruto and no one told her to stay away from him. Hinata on her own freewill decided to not bother with Naruto. She watched him suffer day after day and she decided not to bother with him, she chose to do nothing. That’s not love. That’s apathy.
Let’s move on to Sakura. One of the reasons that Sakura is hated so much is because she was the one that hugged Naruto in chapter 450 and most fans believe that Hinata should’ve been the one to hug Naruto because Naruto is her “man”. Oh boy. I have to ask. Who cares about Hinata?
I’ve seen this sort of stuff a lot from people when they focus on what Hinata wants instead of what Naruto wants. You do realize that Naruto is the main character right? This is Naruto’s story, this is Naruto’s journey. It’s about him achieving his dreams, his desires and his wishes. Even the name of the story is called “Naruto”. So since when did the feelings and desires of an insignificant side character became more important than the feelings and desires of the main character?
If you are a “Naruto” fan you should want him to succeed not to fail. But the majority of the people who read/follow “Naruto” are actually Sasuke and Hinata fanboys/fangirls so there is no surprise that you don’t care about Naruto.
Probably the major reason people hate Sakura is because her confession towards Naruto from chapter 469. I’m not going to talk about her confession since I already did in my first rant but I’m going to say this. Now regardless how you want to view her confession and by that I mean if she was lying or not it doesn’t matter, it’s completely irrelevant. I’m going to say this Sakura gave up on Sasuke so Naruto could be protected. She gave up on something that she wanted bringing Sasuke back so team 7 can be united again. She gave up on that so Naruto can be protected. Notice something here? It sounds like a sacrifice. She sacrificed something that she wanted to keep someone else safe. Does she get credit for that? Of course not, because well if you’re not Sasuke or Hinata you just don’t matter.
Let’s talk about the famous moment where Sakura thinks of Sasuke in chapter 540. Now I’ve already talked about this moment in the first rant but I’ve discovered something about this particular moment. This moment can be viewed in two ways, the first one is you believe she thinks of Sasuke because she loves Sasuke and the second one is what I said in my original rant. That’s the truth about this moment, it can be viewed in two ways and that’s simply because the narrative doesn’t tell us which of the two options is correct. At the end of the day this moment depends on how you want to view it. Both options are valid and invalid at the exact same time. Notice that I’m not contradicting myself at all, I still stand by what I said in my first rant but like I said this moment can be viewed in two ways.
Let’s continue with what happens next in this chapter. So Hinata gives a speech about how this war is to protect Naruto and no one else and Sakura figures out that “Neji” isn’t really Neji that he is actually a Zetsu clone. Later on Sakura studies the Zetsu clone and figures out its ability and she also informs the rest of the alliance. By doing what she did Sakura was able to save a lot of lives. Does she get credit for this? Hell no. The same thing “If you are not Sasuke or Hinata, you just don’t matter” applies again.
Moving on to Hinata’s speech from chapter 573, she said that after the war she will stop chasing Naruto and next time she will stand by his side holding his hand. This is another moment that can be viewed in two ways. The first one is that after the war she will be with him romantically and the second way this moment can be viewed is that she will stop trying to be him and find herself, find her own way without Naruto, basically becoming a person. Now regardless of how you want to view this moment it still doesn’t change the fact that her entire speech is about herself getting what she wants. Either being with Naruto or finding herself and growing as a person without Naruto. The latter is logical since she said that she will stop chasing Naruto.
Now from everything that happened until this point, does Hinata really deserve all the praise? No.
Seriously up until this point she hasn’t done anything worth mentioning. I want to point out something that most of you missed about Hinata’s moments. You see the way she starts those moments is really good but the way she continues them is catastrophically bad. For example when she intervened in the fight between Naruto and Pein, the beginning of that moment was really good because she had the courage to go there even though she was no match for Pein. But the way she continued that moment was disastrous. Remember how Pein destroyed the entire village and Tsunade had to “sacrifice” her life to protect as many people as she could. Well because of Hinata’s intervention, Tsunade’s sacrifice was rendered useless because Naruto lost control and let the Kyuubi out and the he was going to kill everyone friend of foe. Luckily Minato saved the villagers and Naruto from Hinata’s “intervention”. The stupidity of one cannot be allowed to jeopardize the lives of the others. Again keep in mind that when I talk about these moments I’m only using the information that we knew in that particular moment in time because if I use the information that we know now my argument will became invalid since it will be an argument after the fact which automatically is false.
Now from what I said so far you might think that I hate Hinata and that’s not really true, I actually like her. Well actually I lied I don’t like her at all. But there is something that I like about her and that is her background. You see she has a similar background to Naruto and Lee. Like Naruto and Lee, Hinata was viewed as a loser, as someone who should just give up and go and die in a corner. But unlike Naruto and Lee who changed and became bad asses, Hinata remained exactly the same. She remained Naruto’s fangirl she never changed. Seriously that’s what Hinata is a fangirl. Hell even the anime team which are the biggest Hinata fanboys in world, portray Hinata as a fangirl. Take a look at what they did with Hinata in episode 232. Remember how people hated Sakura for being Sasuke’s fangirl? Well why don’t you hate Hinata for being the exact same thing? Seriously there is no difference between how Sakura was and how Hinata is. The only real difference is that Sakura was a fangirl of the cool guy and Hinata is a fangirl of the uncool guy, that’s it. I said this before and I will say it again Hinata does not love Naruto romantically. I said that Naruto is her superman, let me be more specific then I was in my first rant. Hinata is in “love” with to “never give up” and since Naruto was the one that gave her this ideal she projected those feelings towards Naruto, since Naruto is the one that “gave” her this ideal.
Essentially Hinata is in love with “To never give up”.
You see Hinata could’ve been a good character to the story but Kishi just doesn’t care about her. Because if he actually cared about her, he would have given her some real proper development. Now what exactly does that mean? Well the proper development for her would be for her to grow up. To stop with her obsession with Naruto, to understand that there is more to life than being Naruto’s fangirl. To understand that she has people who care about her and would do anything for her and she should cherish them. To open her eyes and stop with her tunnel vision where she only sees Naruto and everyone else gets the middle finger. Remember she is the one that’s going to lead her clan in the future but from what we sought, she doesn’t care about her clan, about her sister, about anyone actually except herself and her own desires. She could’ve decided to become strong in order to change the Hyuuga way so there won’t be any more main branch and secondary branch, so everyone in that clan is going to be treated as an equal. But from what we’ve seen so far she doesn’t care about members of her clan. She could’ve decided to be the loving and caring big sister to Hanabi but again from what we’ve seen so far she doesn’t care about that either. Maybe she doesn’t like her sister because Hanabi owned her.
You Hinata/Naruhina fans like to say that Hinata is awesome and amazing and a goddess and on and on. But the simple fact of the matter is this: that’s a lie. She is nothing more than a girl who is obsessed with Naruto. She appears once every 50 chapters says “Naruto-kun” and then disappears. You could replace Hinata with a playback device, set that device to play “Naruto-kun” every second and attach two big balloons to that device and you won’t even be able to tell the difference between the real Hinata and the playback device. I’m sorry if this sounds cruel but it’s the truth. Every single time she appears in the story it’s because of her “feelings” for Naruto, not because she saved someone’s life or she discovered how a technique works that the enemy uses or just because. Even those moments that have nothing to do with her feelings for Naruto, she still manages to find a way to make those moments about her feelings for Naruto. For example 540 that could’ve been a good moment for her if she said something like “Don’t worry Shino I’m fine, we all have to do our best because this war is about protecting the entire world.” But of course that didn’t happen. She immediately made that moment about her feelings for Naruto and everyone else can go and die, I mean who cares about them anyway.
Now take a look at Sakura’s moments, when she appears it’s not only because her feelings for Naruto or Sasuke; she can appear in moments that have nothing to do with her feelings for Naruto or Sasuke.
For example when she saved Kankuro’s life, when she fought against Sasori, when she fought against Ino, when she saves lives and on and on. All those moments have nothing to do with her feelings for Naruto or Sasuke and she doesn’t find a way to make those moments about her feelings. And that’s simply because Sakura has a character something that Hinata doesn’t. Sakura can stand on her own two feet she doesn’t need to be paired with Naruto or Sasuke to exist in the narrative, Hinata can’t. If you take Hinata’s feelings for Naruto out of her character, we are left with nothing and that’s because she can’t stand on her own two feet without that. Without her “feelings” for Naruto she doesn’t have a reason to exist. I said this before and I’ll say it again the reason Hinata was created is because Kishi needed a character to create DRAMA between Naruto and Sakura. That’s what Hinata is a character created for drama purposes; she is there to make us go “Well Naruto can end up with Sakura or Hinata”. She is basically the third wheel and that’s sad. You take the drama out of her and you erase her.
So is Hinata really that amazing as you guys/girls like to say? So far the answer is no.
You know what’s even sadder then Hinata not having a good character? You Hinata/Naruhina fans.
Because you like to say that Hinata is awesome and amazing when I’ve just proven that’s wrong by using the narrative. But that’s not the sad part. You know what the sad part is? Every single Hinata/NH fan that I’ve seen on YouTube or read comment on a forum; every single one has the same argument “Hinata is awesome and she must get Naruto because only she loves him”. I’ve never seen a Hinata/NH fanboy/fangirl to say “You know what it will be amazing if Hinata grows up and stops with her obsession with Naruto.” The thing you guys missed is this: Hinata ending up with Naruto means nothing.
Let’s say Hinata and Naruto end up together. I have to ask you, how is that a good thing for Hinata’s character? Does that help her obsession with Naruto? Does that make her a good leader for her clan? Does that mean she matured? Well the answer is no and that’s because at the end of the day Hinata ending up with Naruto means nothing. It achieves her nothing. She doesn’t grow up at all she remains exactly the same. From what I’ve seen so far from the Hinata/NH fanbase you guys don’t really care about Naruto or Hinata, you just want Naruto to be with Hinata. That’s the sad part of your fandom, you don’t really care about the characters and you just want NH to happen.
Again I say this I don’t like her at all. But at the same time I would love to see Hinata growing up, to see her taking charge of her clan and leading them into an age of freedom and liberty. I would love to see her decide that it’s time for her to stop with her obsession for Naruto and it’s time to live her life.
Now when a Narusaku fan (me) wants Hinata to stop her obsession with Naruto, to grow up and become a BAMF and you guys the Hinata/NH fans really don’t care about that, you just want NH to happen. Well that’s when you realize that there is something wrong with the NH fandom. You guys don’t care about the characters at all; I on the other hand care about that because I want my characters to have some substance. I don’t want characters to exist just for drama purposes, just to be paring fodder.
Anyway let’s continue to chapter 597 where Kakashi finally discovers how Tobi’s technique works. But did Kakashi really discover how Tobi’s technique works? Well sort of. Remember when Tobi first encountered Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura and the rest. Sakura made a hypothesis on how Tobi’s technique works and she got it right. Kakashi wasn’t the one to discover it that was Sakura. The only thing Kakashi discovered is that his own eye is connected to Tobi’s eye. So Tobi is using Kamui to send his body to another dimension just like Kakashi uses Kamui to send other stuff to that exact dimension since the eyes are connected.
But I have to say this Kakashi needed to see Tobi’s jutsu about 50 times to discover that they use the same dimension. Now Sakura saw Tobi’s jutsu once or twice and just from that she made a hypothesis on how that technique works and she got it right. So great job Kakashi son of the white fang my ass, you’ve been defeated by a pink headed girl that has no sharingan, no byakugan, no rinnengan, no special powers and no tailed beast inside of her. She is just a normal girl that made a theory about how the enemy’s technique works from seeing it once and she was right. Kakashi needed to see that move 50 times to discover one small thing.
So Kakashi didn’t discover Tobi’s jutsu, Sakura did. Kakashi only confirmed Sakura theory and added his own discovery.
So does Sakura get some credit for that? Well the answer is of course not. The same old Sasuke and Hinata argument applies here as well. If you’re not Sasuke or Hinata you just don’t matter.
Let’s move on to the arrival of the shinobi alliance in chapter 611. The first thing that came out of Hinata’s mouth was “Naruto-kun are you ok?” I mean really Hinata, really?
So you have Kakashi and Gai who are pretty much dead, well not dead but close to death. Then you have Bee who is exhausted and you have Naruto the only one there who is perfectly fine. Naruto doesn’t even have a scratch on him. And Hinata only asks about Naruto. Now not asking about Bee is understandable since she doesn’t know him but to ignore Kakashi and Gai, two of your superiors not only in rank but in skill as well, is really cold even for her. I mean we know that she only thinks about what she wants but come on try to help them and if you can’t help them at least see if they’re ok.
Oh and about the whole Kiba teasing Naruto with “Don’t act tough because Hinata is here” and Naruto responding with “Hell Yeah/Hey” that’s not the way it happened. Remember this is a manga you read it from right to left so Naruto was the one to say “Hey” first and after that Kiba comments with “Don’t act tough…” and he gets ignored by Naruto. Naruto doesn’t respond to Kiba’s comment nor does he respond to Hinata’s question. Naruto only talks to Sakura in this chapter and he tells her to heal Kakashi but before he can actually finish what he wanted to say Sakura begins healing Kakashi and she responds with “I know”. Now this small moment between Naruto and Sakura is done to show us how much they know each other. Naruto gave Sakura an order and Sakura already knew what Naruto wanted.
Another thing about Kiba’s tease. Kiba is on the same level as Hinata, meaning that he knows nothing about Naruto. He fought with Naruto once and he went on two missions with him. And in none of those moments did Naruto gave the impression that he has feelings for Hinata or that he wants to look good in Hinata’s presence.
You know what for the sake of argument let’s say that Naruto actually responded to Kiba’s “tease” with “Hell Yeah or Hey or whatever”. Are you really going to take this “tease” as evidence to suggest that Naruto has feelings for Hinata?
Is this moment more valid than the moment where Sai asked Naruto about his feelings towards Sakura? Remember Sai actually asked Naruto a question “Do you have feelings for Sakura?” and Naruto actually responded to Sai’s question with “Yes but I can’t tell her because I couldn’t keep my promise”.
So is Kiba’s tease more valid than Naruto’s answer? Well no.
Let’s move on to chapter 614. I have to ask this: Why is Naruto acting like an idiot/surprised? So Neji does his spinning move and stops the Juubi’s hand and Naruto is amazed that Neji is strong. I mean he fought with Neji, he knows that Neji is strong so why is he so surprised? Then Hinata joins Neji and Hiashi and she has a little speech and Naruto is surprised again. I really have to ask why is Naruto surprised that Neji and Hinata are there, I mean what’s the big deal?
Anyway Hinata decides to jump in front of Naruto to sacrifice herself to “protect” Naruto but Neji ends up sacrificing his life to save both Naruto and Hinata. Now before I continue I have to make a couple of remarks. One of them being why did Hinata decide to “protect” Naruto by playing goalkeeper with her back turned against the enemy? She proved moments ago in the chapter that she is perfectly capable of deflecting the attacks away, she deflect one attack. Was deflecting one attack her limit or what?
Seriously what happened? We’ve seen that she can deflect the attacks away from Naruto, so why doesn’t she continue to do that? Why did she decide that the only way to protect Naruto was to play goalkeeper with her back turned against the enemy? When she proved that she can actually protect Naruto by deflecting the attacks. Actually she gave up on protecting Naruto when she turned her back because she pretty much said “I give up on actually doing something and I’m going to turn my back against the attacks and I’m going to wait for the flying wooden sticks to kill me so I can die in Naruto’s arms and have a one on one moment with him” but Neji saw that and said to himself “No no no Hinata you are not going to die in Naruto’s arms because I want to die in his arms to have a one on one moment with him”. Jokes aside now, it eludes my understanding why Hinata decided to commit suicide again. You cannot even compare this moment with Kushina’s and Minato’s moment when they sacrificed themselves to protect Naruto or when Tsunade did the exact same thing or even Sasuke because the only thing those characters could do to protect Naruto was to jump in front of the attack and stop it thus saving Naruto. Hinata proved in this chapter that she can deflect the attacks away but she decided to commit suicide again. I admire the fact that she is willing to die for Naruto but what she did is once again stupid. This is yet again one of those classical Hinata moments were the beginning of the moment is great but the continuation is catastrophically bad. Look I understand that she is willing to sacrifice herself to protect Naruto and that’s admirable but mistaken. I mean if she really wanted to protect him why not continue to deflect the attacks or grab Naruto and jump in a different direction or just grab Naruto and throw him out of the way or kick him in the head thus pushing him out of the way or anything that would actually protect/save Naruto. This is one of those moments where Hinata’s feelings for Naruto make her not think at all. Neji died because of Hinata’s “feelings” for Naruto. Seriously there was no reason for Neji to die if Hinata didn’t decide to commit suicide. If Hinata continued to deflect the “flying wooden sticks” or grabbed Naruto and jump out of the way then Neji would have no reason to sacrifice himself to protect both Hinata and Naruto. Hinata is the reason Neji died. It’s one of those moments where Hinata’s “feelings” for Naruto made her unable to think and thus resulting in Neji’s death. Right now its official Hinata is a jinx when she appears bad things are about to happen. Last time she “tried” to protect Naruto she ended up making the situation worse than it was. But last time Minato saved the day, this time Minato couldn’t save the day anymore and it ended with Neji’s death. So great job Hinata you indirectly killed Neji.
Let’s take a look at the next chapter which is 615. Where do I even begin with this train wreck of a chapter? Well let’s start with the beginning of course.
So Neji is dying in Naruto’s arms and Obito starts mocking Naruto because Naruto said that he won’t let anyone kill his friends, then Obito is trying to turn Naruto to the dark side and then something totally unexpected happens Hinata slaps Naruto. Here is something that doesn’t make any sense at all why does Hinata slap Naruto. I mean Neji dies in his arms Obito is trying to convert Naruto and then Hinata slaps Naruto for no reason at all. He didn’t look like he was about to give up and join Obito. If Naruto would’ve said “I give up Obito, you’re right and I’ll join you” or if Naruto raised his hand and thus embracing Obito’s world or he had any sort of moment that could tell us that he really was going to join Obito then Hinata’s slap would actually make sense. If something like that would’ve happened then it would’ve been absolutely normal for Hinata to knock Naruto’s teeth out. But none of those thing happened Hinata just slaps Naruto for no reason. Seriously Neji dies, Obito talks trash and Hinata slaps Naruto. Seriously Hinata’s slap makes no sense, if Naruto would’ve showed that he is indeed giving up and embracing Obito’s dream world than Hinata’s slap would make sense. But that didn’t happen actually in this chapter when Naruto talks with Kurama we see that Naruto wasn’t even thinking about giving up, the thought never crossed his mind, he was just devastated that Neji died. That’s it.
Anyway after Hinata’s slap she gives a speech. Here is the second problem with this chapter, her speech. Now I’m sorry but wasn’t enough that she kept repeating “Naruto-kun” every second? Now she needs to repeat someone else’s speech? I say this because her speech is not really new, it’s actually Neji’s speech from 614 but told differently. Hinata even admits this when she said “Do you understand what Neji said”. It’s the same thing we’ve already heard. That everyone on that battlefield is ready to die for Naruto. What Hinata actually did was to tell Neji’s speech again then she told Naruto that she has the same nindo as him (Naruto). Wow talk about a true copycat. Couldn’t she come out with her own speech?
Anyway let’s move on to Hinata waking up Naruto from his despair moment. Here’s the truth there was nothing she could’ve said to wake him up from this so called despair moment. First of all because Naruto was never in “despair”, he was just shocked that Neji died and secondly nothing that Hinata said “woke” Naruto and that’s simply because she doesn’t know Naruto. The one that “woke” him is Kurama because Kurama knows Naruto, he didn’t repeat Neji’s speech, Kurama used a historical fact about Naruto, he talked about Naruto’s parents, how Naruto’s life is connected to his parents and Kurama reminded Naruto that he isn’t alone his parents will always be with him.
This moment proves that Hinata doesn’t know Naruto more than any other moment. And that’s simply because she couldn’t connect with him on a personal level. Look at what she said its same thing Neji said told differently and she told Naruto that she has the same nindo. She couldn’t tell Naruto something about him, something that would “wake” him up because she knows pretty much nothing about the boy. And yes Naruto did thank Hinata in the end but to be honest, what exactly did you expect? For him to say “Sorry Hinata your speech was nice and all but the beast inside of me did everything”. Of course he wouldn’t say anything like that because well it’s Naruto.
Let’s move on to the real problem with this chapter. Now the first time I read this chapter I was actually expecting to see Sasuke on top of a hill at the end of the chapter watching what’s going on and having the same dumb expression as all of the rest of the characters that appeared in this chapter. Seriously why does everyone in this chapter act and look like an idiot? Naruto looks like an idiot, Sakura looks like an idiot, Kakashi looks like an idiot and hell even Obito looked like an idiot. This chapter was an assassination of the characters that were in it. Almost everyone in this chapter acts incredibly strange and stupid. And for what so Hinata can get her shining moment? Was it really that difficult to make Hinata look good without making everyone else look like an idiot?
This is by far the worst chapter I have ever read of the Naruto manga, pretty much every character that appeared in this chapter got assassinated. You cannot even argue that this chapter is done for Hinata’s development. Because I have to say where exactly is Hinata’s development if at the end of the chapter she becomes Naruto’s fangirl all over again. The exact same thing she needed development from, she didn’t get. This chapter is pretty much done for a single reason to have the Narusaku and the Naruhina fans fight with each other. And you know what’s sad about this? It worked. A lot of characters needed to look like an idiots including 3 of the main characters in order to have the NS and NH fans fight each other, brilliant. Like I said to me this is the worst chapter I have ever read, my rating for this chapter is 0 out of 10, it’s gets nothing. And before you say “Well Nostradamus of course you don’t like this chapter because you’re a NS/Sakura fan and you hate the fact that Hinata “woke” Naruto and Hinata was the one that gave that speech and you’re a Hinata hater” Before you say that let me be perfectly clear even if it was Sakura “waking” Naruto up and giving a speech I would still see this the worst chapter ever. So even if it was Sakura doing the exact same thing that Hinata did, I would still see this chapter the worst chapter ever, my rating will go up to 1 out of 10 for a simple reason Sakura is one of the main characters. I mean was it really that difficult to have Hinata’s shining moment without making her look bad as well as all the rest of the characters? I think not. I mean how about this instead of making Hinata slap Naruto for no reason just have her start a speech, a new one not to repeat Neji’s one, then Shikamaru and Ino jump in talk about how they can sort of understand Naruto’s pain in this moment because they lost their parents and Neji’s sacrifice wasn’t in vain and then moment can move on. You get the idea, something that will make some characters look good without making other characters look bad. I’m pretty sure most of you can write a better 615 than the one we got, the one I wrote above took me about 5 seconds and to me its way better than the original 615 and it’s not even complete. Now if you’re a NH fan and you don’t care about the characters, about the plot, etc. well this is the chapter for you. For the rest of you that actually care about the characters and you don’t read “Naruto” just for the parings, well stay away from it. Seriously I want all of you to look at this chapter and tell me if you see the son of the fourth Hokage there, if you see the one that is going to bring peace in the world, if you see the Rikudou Sennin’s reincarnation or whatever Naruto’s connection with the Rikudou will turn out to be, or if you see the main character there? The answer is no because Naruto was portrayed as in incompetent child, as an idiot and for what? So Kishi can have the NS and NH fans fight while he is taking a break.
I also said that even Hinata looked bad in this chapter and that’s simply because what she said and did at the end of the chapter. She said “Naruto’s hand is so big and strong” that line is by far the worst thing that Hinata could say in that moment. Neji just died, sacrificed his own life to save both Hinata and Naruto and Hinata completely forgets about him the second she got what she wanted to hold Naruto’s hand. Yes she did cry for Neji but the second she got to hold Naruto’s big and strong hand she was like “Neji? Who the hell is Neji? Ah must be fodder.” I mean was it really that difficult for Hinata to thank Neji for saving her ass? Naruto did thank Neji. Hinata couldn’t be bothered. Seriously why didn’t she say something like “Thank you Neji, I promise I won’t let your sacrifice go in vain, we will defeat the bad guy.” I know it sounds kind of cheesy but compared to that stupid line she gave, mine is a million times better. Because it actually shows that Hinata is grateful for Neji’s sacrifice and it would actually prove that she cares about others as well, that for once in her life she doesn’t think about getting what she wants.
Oh and about the holding hands thing, at the end of the chapter we get the answer why is Naruto holding Hinata’s hand. And the mystery answer is. He needed to give her chakra. Seriously that’s really it, there’s no great mystery, no great revelation, just chakra transfer. There is nothing romantic about this moment because Naruto doesn’t say something like “Wow Hinata is really beautiful or her hand is so soft and small” or a remark for a third party someone like the one that knows Naruto probably better than anyone and that someone being Kurama. I mean Kurama teased Naruto about kissing Sasuke when Naruto meet the rest of the Jinchuuriki and the tailed beasts, so why didn’t Kurama tease Naruto in this chapter? When he intervened he could’ve easily said “Your girlfriend is right man you’re not alone” or “Hey moron this is your chance to kiss her, I know you’ve always wanted to do it.” Or even a smile coming from Naruto or anything that could tell us that Naruto views Hinata more than just a friend or is starting to view her more than a friend.
To me this chapter confirmed one thing. That Kishi truly doesn’t care about Hinata and he’s going to use her as much as possible for drama purposes. This could’ve been the moment in which Hinata finally stops with her obsession with Naruto and moves on but that didn’t happen because at the end of the chapter she goes back to being Naruto’s fangirl. One step forward, three million backwards.
Let’s take a look at chapter 616. Now in this chapter we find out why Naruto hold Hinata’s hand longer and the answer is because Kurama wasn’t finish gathering his chakra.
Anyway let’s move along to the next chapter 617 now we see Lee having some flashbacks of Neji. A small moment to show us that Lee actually cared about Neji, that he had a bond with him. I have to ask why didn’t we get a flashback of Hinata thinking about her bond with Neji in 615? Something to show us that Hinata values her bond with him, that he meant something to her. But from what we’ve seen so far she doesn’t really care about him.
Also Hinata fixes Naruto’s shoulder in this chapter and Naruto’s response was “Go Lee” wow massive troll.
Now in chapter 630 Sakura gets her shining moment. She has her own speech and she talks about Naruto’s true feelings, about how Naruto views everyone as his friend. She also encourages the shinobi alliance by telling them if they’re going to die, it’s better to die fighting then to do nothing. Yet again we have a moment that tells us that Sakura actually knows Naruto, she knows how he feels. Her speech is really good and that’s because it’s not a repetition of someone else’s speech. She doesn’t repeat the same thing some we’ve already heard. This chapter is really good and that’s not really because of Sakura’s speech. It’s because Sakura got her moment and Naruto didn’t look like an idiot, Kakashi didn’t look like an idiot, Hinata didn’t look like an idiot, Sakura didn’t look like an idiot, no characters were assassinated in this chapter in order for Sakura to get her shining moment. No one was touched. That’s really why this chapter is good. Sakura got her moment without everyone else looking like incompetent fools. And that’s because Sakura has something called character development. Kishi doesn’t need to bring everyone else down in order to make Sakura shine.
Now chapter 631 Minato arrives at the battlefield and saves the day like a boss. He also asked the question that made everyone go insane. He asked if Sakura is Naruto’s girlfriend and the one to confirm that Sakura is Naruto’s girlfriend is well Naruto. This was a direct confirmation coming from Naruto himself that he views Sakura as his girlfriend. Now Sakura responds with a classical tsundere moment, nothing new here. If you understand what a tsundere is and how they act, you will understand this moment if not well you’re going to say something like “Sakura clearly rejected Naruto, she clearly is disgusted with that thought” or “See Sakura never saw Naruto in a romantic light, she loves Sasuke 100 percent”.
Remember that Naruto could’ve easily said “No father, you see that girl over there, the one with the long hair, that is my girlfriend”, but he didn’t. What this moment actually proves is that Naruto’s feelings never change. Do you NH fans remember all the things you said after the NH moments? Moments like when Hinata confessed, you said that Naruto would fall in love with Hinata after that or that he is already in love with her because he went 6 tails or when Naruto talked with Hinata in chapter 559 when he told her that she is strong, you said that Naruto is accepting Hinata’s love or that he is falling for her and most recently when Neji died and Naruto and Hinata hold hands, you said that Naruto is showing his love for her or that we know how Naruto feels about Hinata or that moment will be the beginning of NH or whatever. This is what this moment actually proves that after all the NH moments Naruto’s feelings didn’t change at all. He still views Sakura as his love interest. It proved that all those NH moments were nothing more that friendship. It proved that there was nothing romantic about the NH moments at all. There was no romance between Naruto and Hinata, you guys (NH fans), you made those moments romantic by not understanding them. By making them more than they actually were. By trying to see something that was never there to begin with.
In this chapter we finally get the confirmation that Sakura is indeed like Kushina. And the confirmation comes from Kushina’s husband Minato. Minato himself says that Sakura is like Kushina. Now I have to say I don’t even know where this Hinata is like Kushina argument even started. Because the first time we saw Kushina was back in Jiraiya’s flashback when he died. And from the first moment we see that she looks like Sakura, you could actually say that’s Sakura’s mother. That’s how similar they look.
Then we saw how she acts and we learn a bit about her and her history when Naruto meet her. And we saw that she is pretty much like Sakura. She didn’t like Minato in the beginning just like Sakura didn’t like Naruto in the beginning, she hated her hair and Minato liked her hair just like Sakura hates her forehead and Naruto likes her forehead and on and on. So the argument Hinata is like Kushina or even Minato is ridiculous.
Also in this chapter we had the best facial expression in the entire “Naruto” manga. And that facial expression belongs to Hinata. Because it illustrates just how clueless Hinata really is. You can actually see that she has no idea what’s going on, especially when Sasuke arrives. Now when Sasuke arrives everyone Sakura, Shikamaru, Ino, Chouji and Kiba they all go like “WTF Sasuke? What the hell are you doing here? Why are you here? We don’t understand.” Expect for Hinata her face says it all. She doesn’t know what is actually going on. And that’s simply because she doesn’t have a connection with Naruto, Sakura, Minato, Kushina or even Sasuke. She is literally lost. She is living in Lala land where the war is over and everyone is dead expect for herself and Naruto and now they have to repopulate the planet in order to save the human race. That’s how clueless Hinata really is, you can tell by her facial expression that she really doesn’t understand or know what the hell is going on around her. She is living in her own fantasy world.
Also in this chapter Kishi killed once and for all NH. Actually you cannot kill something that was never alive to beginning with. What exactly do I mean by that? Well from the start of the story Kishi has followed a certain pattern or cycle if you want. From the very beginning he has been giving us Narusaku moments then Naruhina moments then Sasusaku moments. It’s a cycle, it starts with one moves to the next and it goes in circles. This is what I mean when I say you cannot kill something that was never alive to beginning with. You see the Naruhina and Sasusaku moments are always exactly the same, Kishi is showing us that something might happen between Naruto and Hinata and Sakura and Sasuke but it never does. They always stay at zero percent, they remain the same. Nothing happens between them. Narusaku on the other hand keeps growing every single time. Every moment they have evolves their relationship more and more. Now I did acknowledged that Kishi could easily make NH the end paring or an open ending or even put Naruto with a completely new girl or even no one, but the simple fact of the matter is this. The narrative has never told us that something is going on between Naruto and Hinata or Sasuke and Sakura; the narrative clearly showed that between Sakura and Naruto there is more than just friendship. And I know what you NH fans are going to say that “Sakura never showed any feelings for Naruto that go beyond friendship” to which I have to reply with “The narrative is telling us otherwise.” We’ve seen that Sakura feelings for Naruto go beyond friendship not only from Sakura herself but also from third party members, people like Sai or Yamato or now Minato.
Oh and before you find some stupid way to argue against that, I have to ask what exactly do you need to see in order to understand that Sakura’s feelings for Naruto really go beyond friendship? Do you need her to be exactly like Hinata? Do you want her to be fangirl? Do you want her to say “Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Oh Neji died how cares about him anyway, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun, I love you Naruto-kun even though I have no idea who you really are, Naruto-kun.” Is that what you need to see in order to understand?
Right now Hinata became truly irrelevant in the “paring wars” because in this chapter we have Naruto’s confirmation that he views Sakura as his girlfriend and we also have Minato confirming once and for all that Sakura is indeed like Kushina. Seriously Hinata is done for. Unless Hinata jumps in front of Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke and pushes Sakura out of the way and declares herself the lost member of team 7 and then she punches Naruto in the face for saying that Sakura is his girlfriend and then we see Minato declaring Hinata to be more like Kushina than Sakura, unless something like that happens Hinata is done. It’s over for her.
What else happened in this chapter? Oh team dysfunctional is back together. I say team dysfunctional because Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke as team have never worked. Naruto and Sakura as a team works, Naruto and Sasuke as a team works, Sakura and Sasuke as a team doesn’t work and when you put all three together you get the perfect recipe for destruction. You want a team that actually works look at Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji, the Ino-Shika-Cho, that’s a team that in which all three members complete each other. Naruto Sakura and Sasuke as a team is a disaster waiting to happen. They don’t really work.
Moving along to chapter 632. I have to say not much happened in this chapter, Sakura gets a power-up and everyone wants to be Hokage. Seriously there is nothing really to talk about it. Unless you want me ranting about how bad it was. It’s not really the chapter itself; it’s something that goes beyond the chapter, something more.
Chapter 633 – Hinata gets another “shining” moment and yet again we have a classical Hinata moment. So Hinata is attacking one of the Juubi’s mini clones, she reaches her limit at 32 palms then she has a flashback of Neji (we have to assume that Neji trained her from the flashback but it’s not clear), then she thinks of Naruto then she finally learns 64 palms/fists and then all that glory disappears, because she found a way to make that moment about her feelings for Naruto. Hinata I’m still waiting for you thank Neji for sacrificing his life in order to save your worthless existence. Do you remember that moment, Hinata? Seriously every single time we see her it’s the same thing “Naruto-kun, Naruto-kun and screw the rest of the world” it’s getting really annoying. Also there is something strange about Hinata’s flashback when she thinks of Naruto we see Naruto looking at her and smiling and it’s the moment from chapter 615. It’s weird because in 615 this moment never happened or if it did happen then why didn’t we see it? There are only two explanations either this moment happened in 615 and we didn’t see it then which is really strange and it makes no sense or Hinata is modifying her own memories to satisfy her own desires. I have a bad feeling about this “shining” moment because I have a feeling that she is going to enter “Commit Suicide Mode” again. Which is really bad but also it could be good. Why exactly could it be good? Well remember how Sakura got “slapped” by Sai way back in chapter 458 and Sakura opened her eyes. Well the same thing could happen if Hinata dies then she meets Neji on the other side and Neji “punches” her because she needs more than a “slap” to wake up from her fantasy world. It could actually be good for her in order to get some development.
Also we have a small reminder that no matter how powerful the rookies get they will always be inferior to Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke. For example Kiba, he managed to create a clone of himself when Naruto has the ability to create thousands of them, another example is Hinata she needed 64 moves to defeat one Juubi clone when Sakura was able to defeat over 64 Juubi clones with 1 move. And it’s perfectly normal since Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke were trained by 3 of the most powerful characters in the story. Not to mention that they are main characters and will always be above the side characters.
Chapter 638 – Sakura asks Hinata to tell her what happened. Now this may not seem like much but this is pretty amazing as far as Hinata’s character. And that’s for a simple reason she gets asked a question then she replies and that’s it. Why exactly is this amazing? Well because she got a moment to do something without making that moment about her feelings for Naruto. She replies to the question and then she shuts up. Now I’m not trying to make fun of Hinata by any means, I’m just saying this a good moment for her. She does her job and that’s it. She doesn’t find a way to say “Naruto-kun” or “I love you Naruto-kun” or “This war is to protect Naruto-kun” or any other nonsense. And this is good because so far she has done two things; she fixed Naruto’s shoulder and now she is going her job of telling everyone what’s happening. These are the only two things Hinata has actually achieved in “Naruto” because the rest of her moments end up in a complete disaster or she finds a way to talk about her feelings for Naruto.
You may have noticed that a lot of my rant is about Hinata and there is a good reason for it. I don’t like her. And that’s because of two reasons. The first one is: I don’t like what Kishi is going with her, I don’t like that he is shoving her in every single time he needs to create some drama. And the second reason I don’t like her is because of you guys the Hinata/Naruhina fans. Because you exaggerate her moments beyond belief. When she does something stupid, you completely ignore the stupidity of her moment and then you treat her like the savior of the world.
Now I’m going to talk about something that as far as I know no one has ever talked about. About a certain aspect of the parings that no one has ever addressed, as far as I’ve seen. And it’s actually a question and that question is “What do we learn?” and this simple question is what all of you should be taking in consideration.
Let me explain in case you don’t understand that it all boils down to that question. When “Naruto” finally ends, what do we the readers learn from it? And this question is about everything not just the parings but I’m only going to focus on the parings.
So let’s take a look at the things we learn from Narusaku, Sasusaku or Naruhina.
Let’s begins with Sasusaku, starting with what do we learn from Sakura’s experience. So we should be in love with someone that treated us like scum, tried to kill us multiple times, wants to kill our family and friends and much more. Now from Sasuke’s experience, we shouldn’t care about the person that loves us and actually cares about us, we should try to kill the person that loves us because well it’s fun and no matter what happens that person will always love us back so no problem there, we should treat the person that loves us like they’re crap and why not we should try to kill his/hers friends. Currently in real life we have plenty of examples that are like Sasusaku. So my question is do we need another example? We already have Chris Brown and Rihanna. Isn’t that enough?
Let’s continue to Naruhina. Starting with Hinata, we shouldn’t really care about the person we love when he/she is in pain from being alone and no one acknowledging their existence, we should just watch from a distance and not bother with him/her. Then when that person is in danger, we should jump in confess our love and commit suicide because that’s our way of telling that person that we love him/her. We shouldn’t care about that person’s feelings or his/hers dreams. We should only care about getting what we want by any means necessary even by completely forgetting someone that sacrificed his life to save ours. Now from Naruto’s experience, we should forget about our feelings for the person we love when a complete strange confesses her/his love. We should forget about all the pain that we’ve been through and instantly love the one that could’ve spared us from that pain.
Let’s take a look at Narusaku. Now I’m not going to examine what we learn from Naruto’s experience and then from Sakura’s experience because they’re pretty similar, so I’m going to combine them.
We should actually spend time with each other and learn about each other. We should fall in love with someone that cares about us and thinks about our feelings. We should love someone how loves us and not an illusion of us. We should try to make the person we love happy and not think about our selfish desires. And the list goes on.
Now I do understand the appeal of Naruhina and Sasusaku. But you guys have to understand that Naruhina and Sasusaku are horrible lessons to us the readers. Nothing good can come from them.
From the three couples, Narusaku is the only one that actually teaches us a good lesson. As much as you hate Narusaku, you have to understand this is the only paring that ends with a positive note.
Now this next part is not meant for the users on the Narusaku forum but for the users on the viz forum. You guys can read it of course but keep in mind it's not meant for you.
@PrinceofPeace @placeinthesun16 @ThisIsMyNinjaWay @ItachiKisame @koshej There is this thing you keep doing which is inventing the narrative through induction of our own imagination to back up your poor understanding of it. Like when making arguments with only basic unrelated lore but then go in pure conjecture. Seriously that’s what you guys are going, you’re inventing the narrative to support Naruhina or you just don’t understand the narrative at all. You know what guys let me help you here “Hi I’m a Naruhina fanboy I must defend my biased by inventing stuff up that isn’t even there.” This is pretty much what you’re doing.
All you’re doing is projecting what you think is going on, you have no evidence. In psychology this is referred to as a pathological defense mechanism. Come on don’t give me your personal interpretation and stated as objective fact.
@koshej I’ve seen your comments here and on Deviant Art and I have to say your arguments are really bad. I’m not going to discuss every single piece of comment I’ve seen from you. But I’m going to talk about two things you keep mentioning. One of you arguments is the Bulma and Vegeta one. You keep repeating that Sakura will end up with Sasuke because Bulma and Vegeta. You can’t assume that something that worked in one piece of fiction will work in another. That’s completely unrelated. Yes Kishi did say he was inspired by “Dragon Ball” but that doesn’t mean “Naruto” is “Dragon Ball”. There are similarities between “Naruto” and “Dragon Ball” but they are completely different stories. Your argument sounds exactly like this: If character x does something in “Star Wars” then character y will do the exact same thing in “Star Trek”. Just because “Star Wars” and “Star Trek” belong to the same genre doesn’t mean they are exactly the same. In the same way that “Naruto” and “Dragon Ball” have some things in common at the end of the day, they’re completely different. Your second argument is Sakura still calls Sasuke: “Sasuke-kun”. Well go ahead and read chapter 311 and you’ll get you answer on the suffixes.
@placeinthesun16 Now if I’m not mistaken “place in the sun” means Hinata or has something to do with her name, I don’t remember exactly but I’m sure it has something to do with Hinata’s name. I have to say this, the name you’ve chosen suits you. Because you are exactly like Hinata. You’re living in Lala land.
You are on a completely different level compared to the rest when it comes to inventing the narrative. I don’t know if you’re trolling or if you’re being serious. It feels like I need to get some popcorn before I start reading your comments. Because your imagination is a beyond normal, the things you say and invent are ridiculous and laughable.
I'm bending the rules a bit, I hope no one minds.
