Does anyone remember when Ichigo abandoned Orihime, the girl he supposedly loved, in order to save Rukia, the person who he had a "platonic relationship" with? Remember that he didn't do the same thing when he felt Chad die? 

 

Again, he abandoned the woman he supposedly loved for a woman he was supposedly only a friend with XD

i love how you conveniently forget the panel that ichigo knew that orihime was in safe captivity and rukia's retsu dropped to death levels atm.

ichigo's character didn't have to take a 180 just to be with orihime. he didn't show romantic interest to both rukia and orihime. obviously something happened between the two in 10 years of course.

 

How so? If anything else, Ichigo's mom has more in common with Orihime then Rukia, both look and personality wise.

Right, because the manga goes out of it's way to show how much in love Ichigo and Rukia are for each other. Oh wait... it doesn't.

 

Even if Ichihigo ends with Orihime, it will be nothing like Naruhina. Hinata was a stalker that never bothered to help or support Naruto in anyway while Naruto himself was clearly interested in another girl. But in this scenario, we never get any hint that Ichigo is romantically interested in Rukia, while Orihime has been supporting and helping Ichigo from early on to the best of her abilities.

if ichigo ends up with orihime they'll be angry because their preferred pairing didn't happen, not because ih is like nh. 

in case people have forgotten, i'll just remind those who have. Ichigo has not shown romantic interest in anyone.

back when ichigo was a true badass. now he's a whiny little baby who always needs reassurance.
