This whole silver medal argument is dumb to be honest. As long as Sakura sincerely loves Naruto, who cares? It doesn't matter if she used to love Sasuke. People are allowed to fall in love twice (I wouldn't call SS love though). So if Sakura did end up with him, he wouldn't be a silver medal at all.

This year I turned 18 and it's really time to man myself up. I'm still looking for the love of my life and I'm not giving up. I will hate myself if I end up alone.
Don't rush things man. (Although I did get my first serious boyfriend at 14 lol)

I have a story very similar to NS:
When I was 9, there was this boy who had a huge crush on me. I treated him like dog crap because I liked this other kid. The kid I liked was very mean and crabby towards me. For some reason I still liked him, I even convinced myself I loved him. Now I was 14 years old, and he still treated me the same. The kid that liked me had became my best friend. One day the boy I liked moved away, and left with a very hurtful goodbye. I won't say what he said because I don't want to get a warning. I cried in my room for days after what he said. The only person who stood by my side was the kid who liked me. One day I asked him why he even bothered with me. He was nervous, but he confessed his love for me. I avoided him for a week after he confessed. One day I sat in my room to think about my feelings. I realized that I truly loved him. After that we started dating, and are still together. No, he wasn't a silver medal at all. I convinced myself I loved the other kid because he was cute. That was the only reason I ever liked him. I regret wasting my time with him.
I don't think it will happen, but I hope Sakura can do what I did.
