So, apparently this arc finally ended. Apparently, Sasuke erased everyone memory...of course. Likely their is some BS about how they still remember this stuff in their hearts.

If you want to spin it like that fine, but its more likely that it was; while Sasuke suppressed/erased the memories of the event, but he could not erase what they felt because of the event. So, Sakura feels that she should not give up on her love for Sasuke no matter what (for some reason), and Naruto feels a closeness towards Hinata (also) for some reason.

Both of which never was true in original idea, one only acted "in love" while in presence of another, second never even gave a damn about weirdo, lol

It takes place right after Sasuke leaves LITERALLY right after. She should not have mystic palm, she's supposed to be practicing on fish still. The whole thing is utter kitten to the highest order and a mess.

Ah... good times, I remember a times when Naruto was a story I was looking up/forward too, when there were actuall plotlines, when a world was a bit better place.

And few yeard down the line we got this abomination... what a nice description of how things are nowadays, lolol.

^^^ That right there. Though to be fair Tsunade probably made Sakura self-study a lot and work with Shizune as well. 

Sakura gets the least focus of the three but she is by far the most interesting and adept imo. She's the best student and she'd have been a fan-kittening-tastic teacher herself---something we never get to see. 

Same with Orochimaru and Kabuto, Sasuke even created his own moves without them knowing. The good teacher teaches you how to think and use what you have learned. Both Sasuke and Sakura used their potential. What advice Jiraiya gave Naruto? "Who needs them seals, let's become 2 trick pony!" and he basicly facerolled enemies, and only got to learn his element far later, falling 2 years behind Sasuke on that part.

Just think for a moment, how a dude that never had students (cause they all failed his test) coud've been a great teacher? Were would he get expirience?

Also this teaching was stretched really bad, Kakashi basicly only teached Sasuke, and didn't care for other 2.

After time skip we're suggested that all of trio got some skill from their teachers?

Sasuke was remodeled into a killer with experting in lighting jutsu, got like 6 new moves, learned how to use sword on a level that he possesed threat to a jonin with a group of chunins. Whoever it was (Orochimaru or Kabuto) they did train him, he had motivation on his own.

Sakura under Tsunade learned all the aspects of healing and performed high-stress healing on brother of Gaara at first sight. Gained huge offensive capabilities and learned byakuo seal, learned summon. All that from a basicly non existing skills in anything but genjutsu and basic chakra control.

What Naruto got? Bigger rasengan, how to undo genjutsu and how to use his clones for tricking more then just punching. So much progress that he never been taught by Jiraiya how to control kyubi, let alone sage mode, never even heard about it. Guess 2 years went by in hot springs watching how oldman seduces girls, ocassionaly teaching some small deteils to Naruto. (Just a reminder that Nagato/Konan/Yahiko under Jiraiya were taught from literally just orphans to shinobis ready for war with knowing their basic elements, Nagato obtaining all of basic elements)

If somebody is deserving best teacher it would be Tsunade (who was Hokage and was busy with her own work) or Orochimaru who managed to add to all the strong sides of Uchiha and cover his weakness.

The problem is that Kishimoto probably never saw it as anything more than a way to tie up some loose ends...mainly what ties the Uzumaki into the Senju-Uchiha conflict? Ie the BS cycle of hatred he trying to make a major plot point by that point to justify the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Answer, they are an related to the Senju, who are a cousin clan, and they both descend from the younger son of the Six path Sage. Beyond that. It gave him an excuse to expand upon Kushina's character and make her more important, to please his wife. As well as justify why Pain had the eyes. And later why Karin has those healing abilities as well as more powers later on.

 

Though as you point out it bring in some questions. Why is a child from a well respected ancient and powerful clan abandon and not taught anything about his family? The child of a gifted ninja that rose through the rank to the top because of skill and talent sure, but someone that descend from the village's oldest allies that married the founder of their village? Even if he did skip class how did no one bring it up before?

Nah, see, there is difference between altering a plot (addeding a prophecy about a person that will either stop wars or fail in a fight vs person with god eyes) which was brought up first around Pain's arc, that was a decent move (yeah a bit of loosing an "underdog" trope, but still.) cause Sasuke was heading back to Konoha at the same time Pain was there so it was a fork as who Naruto will fight. Second example is how this plotline goes apekitten, first Naruto fights Madara to stop war, then Kaguya to stop her (what was her motivation?), then Sasuke (why? Cause he assaulted Sakura? Cause he threatened to kill Kages? Cause he promised Sakura to get him back? Cause Sauce suddenly wanted to become Hokage? Cause of prophency? Which one is it?) Who exactly was this "person with strong eyes"?

Epitome of bs of this manga is not even pairings, yeah it's a dissaster on it's own, but what was the goal of jorney? MC getting recognition, achiving a tittle he was dreaming of since early childhood, where was this moment, a culmination of all the hardwork he did put in? Ch.699? Where he silently gets cucked by a dude who chapter ago was threating him and a whole world with a tyrany of "nuclear weapons" in his hands. Ch. 700? That is basicly a promoution to another manga, we get a glimpse of him wearing a hokage outfit, a mountain with his face on it, but whats the difference? We basicly get a suggestion that he got what he wanted. But was it satisfying for you? Whats the difference if he was showed in a jonin or anbu outfit or even his gravestone and still having a face on mountain meaning that he was hokage at one point? Difference is that there was no reaction from MC himself or those that surrounded him on his journey, and if that's not a lazy writting, I don't know what is. 

Remember that epic 15 years in production shonen with an underdog orphan mc who strived to change the world but had nobody to raise him depsite him being a son of mayor and inheritor to the one of most important bloodlines in whole village, with nuclear weapon sealed in him, by a lucky chance taught how to use it by a legendary warrior who once were a teacher to his father... oh yeah, almost forgot that to change the world was his fate somewere along the road it turned out that he just needs to not job a fight with some other dude who's fate is...? To just fight this mc? Excellent logic.

Why wrtie about Uzumaki if in previous 500 chapters there was not even 1 mentioning of how unique was this clan? Never went further than 1 scene with "strong chakra" explanation why mother didn't die right where she was.

Why make Karin lone survivor of this clan if she never even had a direct contact with Naruto, no discussion between them at all, why reveal Karin being Uzumaki?

Why introduce Kushina as plot driving character who suggest which person Naruto should look as his companion in life? Coudn't that be just a note written by a name/surname mother with her photo in mail, like that naruto would find it in his old house at some point of manga?

Oh right, Kushina perfectly fits into many of deliberately written levels of the most kittening logical "red herring" part of manga that consisted of like ~50% of all interactions of cast in one way or another.

And I'll be glad to be mad at hinata or sasuke, but in the end it's author who wrote them this way, or didn't care enought to even write them this way and just approved anything he was suggested to picture, this story just a one big failure overall.

Plot hole: The Frog Elders/Village/Ma and Paw, and Naruto as the Child of Prophecy.

 

First off, the Child of Prophecy was utterly forgotten. Completely dropped. Sure there was something about reincarnation in the end, but it was equally about Sasuke as it was about Naruto. And it was definitely not about the Frog Elders' prophecy. They never touch on that again. This plot hole, to me, is huge. It's what the whole story was built on. Having a shared ending with Sasuke being equal just ruins Naruto's whole hero's journey. The story was presented as being about Naruto as the lone savior, but it wasn't that way in the end. 

 

And second, what about the Frog summons, Kakashi's dog summons, Sasuke's cat, snake or hawk summons, etc. None of that is ever touched on again. Ma and Paw frog went back to their frog village to just be forgotten about, I suppose, because at no point does Naruto ever mention taking a future student there and passing on his Frog contract, like Jiraiya did with him. 

This one is a bit deeper than JUST a child of Prophecy (what in time of revealing I thought was a strange thing to introduce).

You see, origin story was about orphan who strugled to live alone in a village, by hard work he got throught things in story, granted some MC moments (Kurama mostly), than he fought against opponent who had firm beliving in "fate" (Neji in chuunin tournament). Saying that you choose your path in life, it's not determined by fate/prophency.

Than in p2 they introduce this prophency and infamous "that" technique to never speak of both. Cherry on the top of this all is Neji who "changed" after encounter of MC, dies by what was his "fate" from part 1 was, literally cause of dumb sibling who can't use her ninja skills in any given part of a 700 chapters. After Naruto a very awkward moment near a dead body and yada-yada it turns out that ALL ALONG THE WAY mc literally was the "CHOSEN ONE" but not really, more like a "PART OF A CHOSEN DUO" and final of this plot doesn't even make sense, every generation of this dumb "reincarnation" party fought between themselfs, and both parties survived each time to have kids, how the kitten does this even resolve a conflict? 

TL:DR - retcon of an "underdog" trope by "chosen one", than a retcon of a "chosen one" by a "chosen duo".

The joke is, a dude never got students who passed his exams, him being a good ninja doesn't make him a good teacher.

The desing of this volume just gives of a vibe of trying to get attention of school kids who listen to new school of rap artists, doulbe colored hair, face tattoo, edgy looks.

Its so "Logical" It defies literally everything we know about human nature, its own themes, actual events and things Characters have said repeatedly. There is nothing logical about Naruto pretty much directly after Itachi dies. 

Literally as Yahagi left... Hm... coincidence?

The only possible way of ending with SS in a good way is it never happening, period.
