I meant, if he wanted more money he should have done something that revolves around Team 7 as Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi are one of the most popular.

 

They (as in Kishi and SP associates) probably thought that the film would be a huge success outside of Japan since NaruHina tended to be what many fans prefered to see happen in the end. (Even though most Naruto fans outside of Japan are freeloaders). They probably assumed that a NaruHina film would be huge, even bigger than a Team 7 film.

 

Within Japan, All they had to do was call the movie "The Last" (implying that it's the last naruto movie ever) and heavily promote Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi to get people to buy tickets (which is basically what they did). 

 

Also Remember that, SP had the most control over the film and they probably care more about Hinata than the popularity of the series anyway. Kishi just went along with it (while giving some of his own ideas) assuming that it was a good idea........(lol spineless man )

It's going to be centered around daddy issues like people predicted

You know this small interview just confirms in my mind that Kishi definitely became obsessed with "Popularity" over the years.

 

That's why the War Arc was pretty much just a Cesspool of "Power-ups", because that's what he thought would make the series more popular (By imitating DBZ instead of using his own imagination).

 

And then by the ending, where he pretty much sold out to what he was "Told" would make the series more popular.

Strong World felt more cannon than The Last

I'd rather watch the Last Airbender than watch "the Last" again.

Naruto probably looks so old because of stress.

Lol I remember when I first tried to watch the Cam rip version of "The Last", I was skipping through all the NH moments and before I knew it, I pretty much skipped through the entire Film.

. Several ppl here have said they're going to read the mini series. Its just speculation talk based on what's come in.

Honestly, I'm reading part 3 only to see how Akamaru's doing.....the only character that wasn't ruined, stayed consistent throughout and lived his full life :)

I think AoT, Bleach and FMA (both series) had an amazing Soundtrack

 

There are tons of series that I think have great openings so I can't decide

 

I've heard some of FTs Endings and most are pretty good. I think I loved all of FMA: Brotherhoods ending sequences.

41,440 sales. From the way SS fans were saying that the novel was sold out in most places in Japan, I assumed it would sell alot more than the Kakashi Novel.....however, it's the least sold so far

 

First Week for each novel:

Kakashi hiden - 60,611

Shikamaru Hiden - 51,752

Sakura Hiden - 41,440

 

.....but I'm liking this trend....lol.

the series actually converted filler into canon. hinata's confession to naruto in the manga erased. naruto's feelings for sakura are not canon anymore.

The novels aren't canon because they lack the things needed to be regarded as such, they mught have the same charcteristics of retconing the story as the last but they lack what made the last canon

Honestly you guys,

It doesn't really matter, Everything has become bullsh*t now when it comes to Naruto. Being Canon doesn't even have a real meaning because it's all ended up being stupid as a result (basically what luffyq1 is saying)

So if you concider the Last Canon or the Novels, it doesn't matter.....It's all from the same bad tree.

Because he never tried to kill her. That's just his way of showing that he cares. It's true love.

I guess if that's true then he truly did love Karin. :)
