kishi always had to hold onto mommy's hand. he never had talent to begin with.

It all makes sense now. I always wondered how Part 1 could be so good and Part 2 got worse as time went on. It was the editors this whole time. I can't believe I actually respected Kishi at one point :(

So I just finished reading Kishi`s recent interview.  I know I probably shouldn`t be surprised, but I`m kind of shocked that most of Part 1`s success had to do with his editors.  Kishi really never had any writing talent to began with.  I guess now that the series is over he`s showing his true colors.

I've always preferred Neji over Hinata even in part 1 and especially in part 2. He isn't just pairing fodder and has a much more interesting story to tell than Hinata. I think he could have had a long standing impact on the future of the Hyuga clan at least until he died for the most ridiculous of reasons. It became clear in part 2 that Hinata was never going to amount to much, but what happened to Neji came literally out of nowhere and I honestly never expected something so stupid like that to happen to him.

It is a bigger slap in the face since he gave his life to protect members of the main house like his father. He was supposed to change his destiny but he never escaped his fate as a member of the branch family

The end of the Pain arc sucked, but everything else before that was great. I actually consider it the last truly good arc in the series. Great fights plus good development for Naruto. His decision not to kill Pain despite his hatred showed great maturity on his part.

Shame that Pain was the last interesting and compelling antagonist.

Sasuke falling in love with Sakura? Ewwwwwwwwww... I can just imagine him giving her roses covered in blood and giving her a cute little doll placed in a coffin.

Neither can I to be honest. I always pegged him as asexual given his treatment of women in the series. To see him actually show romantic affection feels so OOC

Easily the best pairing in the series.

Yeah...I don't get it either. Kakashi is a character that never was about romantic love. He was more concerned about comradeship and stuff like that. In the end, there will always be only one love story that turned out well and that is MK.

What about Shikmaru and Temari? That was probably the only other decently developed pairing aside from NS

#715028 Why was Anko fat in the epilogue?

I always felt Anko was a character with a lot of potential. She was Orochimaru's former apprentice and one of two people with the Curse of Heaven mark. She could have been used to great affect, but Kishimoto just forgot about her in part 2. All of that potential wasted. And making her fat felt like the ultimate betrayal of her character

Was anyone else bothered that Kishimoto made Anko overweight in the ending? Seemed like a big middle finger to her character
