He could've taken some time to go into sage mode again before going to Pein again is my guess. It might not take him too long to get into sage mode anymore but obviously not it's not fast enough for him to be able to go into the meditative state and gather the sage chakra while in combat.

I guess I would have to see her facial expression, but doesn't anyone else think that it would be very cold for Sakura to lecture Hinata over "being unreasonable", especially considering that Hinata did it to save Naruto's life (even though why she thought she could do anything but play kamikaze is beyond me).

Hinata didn't really think it through though. She just rushed in and attacked Pein and didn't even free Naruto from the black rods. She's just lucky that Naruto has the kyuubi and her 'death' was enough to trigger him to go into kyuubi mode. If that didn't happen then Naruto would've still been trapped by those black rods and would've just been depressed by Hinata's death and angry at Pein.

In that color pic of Sakura healing Hinata, I was thinking that Sakura looks exhausted in that pic and it gets me thinking that Sakura won't be able to save Hinata but she'll keep Hinata alive long enough for Naruto to get back to Hinata for some last words.

If she was instantly killed off by the Shinra Tensei and stabbing I'd say so, but the fact that she said Naruto's name and has a pulse leads me to believe she'll survive.

Nah, I'm thinking it's going to end up being Sakura trying everything she can to save Hinata but since her chakra is too low, she'll fail and Hinata will give her last words to Sakura. Sure it would be cliched but there's not much that can be done nowadays without being a bit cliched.

That would actually be pretty good yet sad. I can actually seeing something like this happening. And I'm sure Hinata is aware of Naruto's feelings towards Sakura. He has never tried to hide that fact and has asked her out in public several times so it probably causes gossip.

My thoughts exactly! Also, while we didn't get a view of the stabbing, Naruto did. And if his reaction is anything to go by he thinks she is dead. And even if that wasn't the case, I don't think all that chakra 6-tails Kyubified Naruto is emitting will be helping her stay alive with those kind of wounds. If Kishimoto keeps her alive after that, then I'll definately quit reading this manga and I don't say that lightly. It's not a matter of having any particular pairing happening now but a matter of principle. If you're gonna kill a character and make us feel that way just to bring them back with some lousy reason, then that's very insensitive of the author.

With Naruto going 6 tails, it's looking like she is dead so I'd see it more as kishimoto giving Naruhina-lovers a bone before putting the final nails on the coffin of the relationship. Not meaning to sound harsh but that's what it feels like to me. /shrug

Guess it's a good time for Sakura to come in and give Naruto backup against the other Pain while Naruto handles god realm pain. Especially since the other frogs are tired now.
