Now with this coronavirus happening, my hours and work days are cut in half. Plenty time for me to catch up on anime. Been catching up with Date a live and Highschool dxd so far.

 

I was thinking of Aria The Scarlet Ammo. The loli sniper is the same seiyuu that voices Origami in the Date a Live anime.

 

I've watched the two season again. About to start the third season. When will the forth season come out?

 

Funny thing to note that in the past, every time I see Tohka, she reminds me of a Tsundere version of Hinata Hyuuga  But its all cool if Shido and Tohka gets paired up. My favorites are ShidoXKitori and  ShidoXKurumi are my top. Origami and Mio are my least favorite female characters I like to be paired up with Shido.

 

Facebook translation? I know it used to be on the Baka-Tsuki website before the translators stopped the fan translation at 2016. In fact date a live was my final LN I've read on that sight.

 

A quick question? How good are the translations? The monologues on on those Japanese light novels used to be an eyesore that I kind of gave up reading anything relating to Japanese literature. Even Chinese wuxia online novels are easier to read than Japanese in English translation. 

Not sure how good the translation is tbh. The dialogue still reads kind of funny at times. But the ones I read that were from that group are better than the ones I read previously. (I had found the first 13 volumes through a youtube link to a zip file before finding the FB group.) The group is Date A Live's LN Translation, btw.

But be careful when you join, the posts in the group are full of spoilers!

Yup! There's even a season 3 now, and a season 4 was just announced.

 

Haven't followed the NL and anime for nearly five years. I kind of forgot the plot. Does this story have the Hurricane Sisters and the loli sniper Riku ( I think that was her name)?

Hurricane sisters Kaguya and Yuzuru, yep. No Riku.

Any other Date A Live fans? I'm a reader of the light novels.....there are 22 volumes in all, the series just ended. I'm only on volume 16, but couldn't resist looking up spoilers for the later volumes.....

My favorite character is Tohka, the beauty in my avatar. She is my queen and I love her and if I didn't ship her with the protagonist I would marry her.

Another favorite is Natsumi. And Kaguya.

This series is an ecchi (especially the LN, seasons 2 and onwards of the anime censors stuff a bit), which usually isn't my thing. However I love the characters (all of them, not just Tohka) and I like that the protagonist isn't a pervert.

Honestly I've found that I'm not too big into shipping, aside from catching the occasional feels for one.

NaruSaku is still one of my favs, canon be damned. I have a ship from Dragon Ball that is my ultimate OTP, but I don't feel comfortable bringing it up here.....

Heeeey. I've logged back in in the first time since forever. So since leaving.....well, I went to mental health and got diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, went to therapy, learned how to tackle problems with executive functioning, finally got a steady job, and.....that's the highlights. Oh, I also just about three or four weeks ago got diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic......

As for what I'm into these days.....

Persona games, Dragon Ball, Date A Live light novels, My Hero Academia, Clannad (the visual novel), Blue Exorcist......and lots of stuff. I have too many interests to properly keep up with. Gone are the days when I focused only on one fandom and burned myself out on it.
