You kidding? If you are talking about Goku and Bulma...Goku had no interest...even if Bulma had slight interest. In DBZ Yamcha was cheating on Bulma, it was implied at the beginning of the Saiyan saga. Vegeta was a much better developed character than Yamcha.

The canon ships in Naruto turned out to be not so great, but make no mistake - the characterization in Naruto is miles above dragon ball and always had been.

I don't particularly care for NaruHina one way or another and I kinda really hate SasuSaku. I really like Sakura's character and this feels like a disservice to her.

That said, I still liked the ending. Naruto and Sasuke's resolution beautiful. I really want to see more of Naruto as Hokage, but I'm OK with it being fanfiction.

No, I'm talking about the little icons that appear next to a forum or thread that tell you whether or not you've read everything. If you click/tap on it, it changes color to indicate that everything has been read.

I've been having trouble hitting the mark as read buttons on my tablet using the mobile interface. I was able to solve this problem myself using stylish by resizing the icons to 1cmx1cm, though the icons look kinda bad at that size.

I don't know if any others were having this problem, but if they are, you might try starting with a larger image and scaling it down with css depending on the size of the screen.

I love my 7" tablet, but I do find that it's sometimes in the awkward position of being just slightly too large for a mobile website yet still too small for desktop sites.

Why does Kakashi wear a mask?

Read a fanfiction once where Kakashi wore a mask because of terrible allergies. It's been headcanon ever since.

No I agree, not until the uchihas are wiped out will there be peace for sure in the story
 
But even then Kishi keeps implying that there will continue to be uchihas (that are hopefully good) by the stories end when he create dthe whole subplot about BZ being the puppet master behind the uchiha clans hatred, and creating 3 pure hearted uchiha characters (Itachi, Shisui and Kagame)
 
I think the point of what he's trying to do is have every future uchiha end up being like them and Sasuke being the head honcho even though.....his sheer existence is a liability to the ninja world (seriously how many times has he switched sides)

I think you're a little off the mark. The shinibi world as we know it is doomed. Just about every conflict in part 2 has reiterated that the system is broken and nobody can agree on a solution.

Hashirama dreamed of bringing all the clans in Fire together and brought an end to the warring clans era. As kage, he tried to foster cooperation among the five villages and failed. As a result, violence was no longer spread out between clans, but concentrated into conflicts between nations.

I wouldn't take Tobirama's narrative too seriously. His mind is too narrow to see the larger issues in this conflict.

I don't believe for a second that Naruto will kill Sasuke.

Ahem. Absolutely! Kishi has been able to put together a passable plot, but his true talent is in characterization. The reason NaruSaku is so compelling to me is because how well Kishi portrays them growing close after much adversity. I don't know how others can't see the intimacy between those two.

What Shonen series isn't generic these days? Nothing can be completely original but that doesn't mean it's still not enjoyable. Now I will admit that Bleach has definitely lost its quality and the only reason why I still read it is because I would like to know how it ends since I invented years worth of reading into it. Basically the same reason why I still read Naruto even though imo I think it's far worse.  

While Naruto has its ups and downs, ultimately I believe in it. I believe in the themes that the plot is built on. I believe that the characters are consistent but not stagnant. I've always believed that the plot was going somewhere meaningful.

I'm being a bit hypocritical, though. I love Batman and co, and you wont see a better example of "stories that arent going anywhere" than American comics.

I don't know. Bleach just left a bad taste in my mouth for whatever reason. Now, Norigami! Recently watched that on Netflix. Really reminded me of those initial Bleach chapters, but ultimately followed through and pushed all the right emotional buttons. I really need to check out the manga; I don't think there's going to be a season 2 anytime soon..

You gave up after 1 arc?  Well to each their own I guess.

I was already pissed because they abandoned the awesome premise within a few chapters and made a generic action adventure shonen. Then I remember there being a relatively satisfying ending to the first arc that was immediately discarded. First it felt like a bait and switch, then it felt like DBZ.

Funny thing is that isn't supposed to be a comedic moment, this is happening in the middle of a serious fight.

It's funny. I gave up reading after the first arc because the aftermath made everything seem pointless. I saw that very chapter and thought "What the heck, let's see what Bleach is doing now".

Jesus Christ and God Almighty. I am so, so glad I didn't get invested in Bleach!

I don't know. Part of me sees this as Naruto and Sasuke's fight. Another part of me thinks that this fight is never going to truly end until Sakura steps up.

Hah, I like this one. I'd choose Noragami! Hopefully Id find my own stray God who works for nickles and dimes. Talk about return on investment.

I dig NaruIno. There are certain ways you can play that pair that are interesting. Better Left Unsaid is one of my all time favorite naruto fics and it features naruino, though it isn't particularly focused on romance.

Colors and Carousels by Folle - Sakura couldn't count the number of times she'd been mistaken for Naruto's girlfriend. Not that she minded. But Naruto acted like it was so so offensive.

Hmm, I had not considered that. So are you saying that if someone searches ONLY for a Naruto / Sakura story, "Fireworks" wouldn't come up because I added Sasuke and Kakashi as main characters? I thought the new feature would help expand search parameters when instead it limited it.

No, the 4 characters are fine. If you don't take advantage of the pairing feature, people searching pairings wont see your fic. To add a character to a pairing, go to the story's property page and click on arrow beside the character.

What I still don't get is why some of you still read the manga if you hate it so much? That's what I don't understand. Even worse when some get mad when you bring this option to them calling you out saying you are enticing them, but whatever.

I stopped reading Bleach when it got too ridiculous. Every now and then I try to pick it back up only to find more reasons to put it back down.

Like I said above, to some that absolutely been hating this manga for the past year and a half, why not just drop it and not come to the forum anymore? If people are tired of people complaining about them complaining then they are only adding to ever lasting complaining circle and thus can be said that instead of complaining about the complainer of people who are complaining they should just let them be and have their own opinion. (I have gone cross eyed.) Also, if you think about it, everyone is feeling the exact same way. Kind of funny and ironic how we all have the same feelings, but we are on two different sides of the fence.

It is forever a complaining loop.

I'm not too sure what you mean by putting NaruSaku in the story. Most stories on here are NaruSaku, mine included, and the links to them are provided so that you can go straight to the story and not have to search for it with FF.net filter system.

Not sure, but I think they are asking people to use the new pairing feature. For example, if a user searched for [Naruto U., Sakura H.], fireworks wouldn't show up, and its also not otherwise clear from the filter what the pairing is.

I disagree pretty strongly with the recent criticisms about the obito thing, so I can understand the frustration.

But people cana be as critical as they want. If I were feeling like "man this sucks", I'd no doubt be saying so on one forum or anothor.
