#666300 The Last theory: Collection of Info & co.

This is so like the abused wife syndrome. Sasuke's terrible. An awful, awful person. Naruto's wonderful and stands by her. But what does Kishimoto say? That Sakura would be a terrible woman if she didn't stay with the man who tried to kill her, put her down in front of their peers over and over, and has to show love with a flick on the forehead? It's Sakura's fault?

Why the hell wouldn't she change her heart for Naruto?! Sasuke's treatment of her is all his fault. Yet Sakura's the terrible woman if she leaves him.

You know what, if it goes down this way, then I can see why an active woman would scare the hell out of him, and he had to reduce Sakura to being ultra-passive.

I have to wonder about these comments though, seems like such a strange thing to say a year before the ending. In fact, all of this does. I'm getting so disgusted with the misinformation and the movie leaks and the slamming of Sakura, directly and indirectly. like I said, I'm just ready for this to be over.

Who skewers their own work this way and calls it marketing? Who? How is this a good thing?

I wonder if he meant that, after all that she had to put up with, if she stuck with Sasuke through all of that abuse, it would have been weird for something comparatively mundane to be the thing that causes her to change her mind. XD

But those a from the same page lol

What do you mean?  I don't really care about pages, I was commenting on whatever doubts people had that the interview could be real.  Did you mean that somebody said the same thing on the same page and I missed it?

I don't really know. Apparently it came from 2ch or whatever. I don't know. It's like this is not  Kishi ffs... What the actual kitten?!

But idk I'd like to see the whole interview if possible to be honest... I don't know what to believe anymore given the kitten people can do nowadays.

I am really waiting forward to the movie, to be honest! To get my clear explanation. If indeed it's true, then my God, I lost all respect for Kishi I ever had, I'm sorry.

Not to mention, she's too severe? What, you're telling me your wife is too severe then? FFS he has been using the scary partner/mom trope until now and even made reference to his real life and how he does a 180 turn? I swear this is not the Kishi I know... At all!

An interview from Kishimoto has been on the schedule to come out today.  The timing's correct.

Everytime Kishi is interviewed, whatever he says doesn't match what he's done in the manga. Lol, it's really weird. Not too long ago, he also said that Sasuke was pure... Sasuke is not pure. He's been corrupted by a world system that forced his brother to kill their family. He hasn't been "pure" since childhood. And now this thing about Sakura being too severe. In my mind, a manga-ka can do whatever he wants in his story because, I don't know, it's his own story. If Kishi thought Sakura was too severe, why not change her? He is the creator. Plus, it wouldn't feel like an asspull or look OOC for Sakura to change because "a violent woman being tender to the man she loves" has already been built upon. When Kishi says stuff like this, I get the feeling his fans know more about his characters than he himself.

You mean to suggest that it would have been better to shoehorn a character even if the author feels that something wouldn't be natural for the character?  I thought there was enough complaining going on whenever readers  feel that a character is behaving OOC.

What Kishimoto was saying was not that Sakura was severe, but that she was not severe enough to be the type of character who could so easily about-face after all that has gone on.  He's saying she's not severe.

#664293 Does the 'shocking ending' confirm NS as the OTP?

Clearly the shock is that Oonoki is STILL ALIVE.

#664285 Japan is in a Recession

Posted by AaaaNinja on 18 November 2014 - 08:57 AM in Ichiraku Ramen Bar

when chapter 699-700 came out I was litarally thinking" I bet there's an economy crisis going on, and the anime, manga businesses are struggling, and so they're using forced marketing advertising or something to get the NH/SS fans to buy their stuff and they get money in the process since those have the most fandom, and poularity LOL"

The movie industry tends to benefit from recessions.  In 2009 in the US theater attendance was up.  People were saying that they cancelled their trips to Disneyland and were taking their families to the movies instead.  It's a cheaper alternative.

Sorry, I read it superficially.

Now that I remember... I actually knew this  :twitch: I'm not feeling good. What is happening to my brain? :argh:

Anyway, if my memory doesn't fail me this time...in Japan there are...publicy about it? Like boosting people to have more kids..."For the good of the country" and all...

Countries can also use immigration as a way to shift their population demographic.

Well...

How can a naruhina be more sane than 90% of the NS fandom is beyond the impossible but here it goes:

http://wishgrantingd...l-naruhina-ever

Sigh, I am ready for this movie to be nothing more than a huge cash-in without any important canon development.

I never really understood what is taboo about the money, it's an industry that makes products.  People seem to have a romanticized view of "art" being above that, although people who are successful in it seem to be the ones who have a lot of important things they want to say.  Kishimoto does have a lot to say about getting along, family, fitting in...

Plus if people are claiming that it's been swayed by popularity, wouldn't those people just be admitting that they're not in the majority?  I don't think popularity has that much influence, it seems too close for it to matter anyway, it would have to have been a HUGE difference to make them stop what they were originally doing.

Someone would consider that an insult. Although as a woman I don't understand the great breast complex.

It's juvenile.  There's always someone who will find a way to insult a part of the body that a person can't help being born with.  Big=Whore Small=Inadequate.

Plus I also think that people who feel like stating their opinion on someone's breast size is no better.

It's an illusion. His cheeks are red because of temperature, not some pink-haired girl who lacks in her breast area.

Is saying that about a girl's breasts supposed to be an insult?

I guess they had to drag out the plot. This is meant to be before the epilogue of the manga, right?

I don't know what it is.  The movie will definitely contain certain things that only people who finished the manga will know about, like Naruto and Sasuke's limbs, Ootsutsukis, and some other things.  I think Kishimoto's message asking people to read the manga to the end before seeing the movie is a warning for anyone who only follows the anime or who hasn't read the manga for a while.  There may be things in the movie that are surprising if they're not caught up.

Many NHers believe Naruto finds Hinata attractive in this vid.

The dialog here is "What I need to protect... I finally realized what it is."  Interpret that however you like.

Hey people, this is the new popularity ranking?

You can't see the date on the page so it could be presented as anything.  Those results match exactly the results of the 9th popularity poll that came out with chapter 531.  It's not the most recent one.  You can almost guess when it came out just by what kinds of characters are the ones getting the votes.

I get the impression that Naruto said something hurtful to Hinata in that flashback when they were kids, and during the movie he has a recollection of it. So I'm guessing the important thing Naruto has to tell Hinata is about how he misjudged her back then or something like that.

"Remember, about that time. There’s something I have to tell you, no matter what. Please wait for me."  That's the dialog in that part of the trailer.  When you hear in the trailer: 覚えているか? あの時のこと "oboete iru ka? ano toki no koto" which is the "Remember?  About that time..." part.  That's where that line is.

Has anyone shared this link yet?  The thread's gotten long but here's one transcription of the new trailer: http://cacatuasulphu...he-middle-of-my

Wait, really? So it's not really a CV of the characters' accomplishments?

I've been trolled.  :wot:

LOL yeah,  That's 竹内 順子 under Naruto's, 中村千絵 by Sakura's CV.... it would be weird if names counted as an accomplishment.

It seems like they're little bios about the characters? We have a reference to Shikamaru's high IQ, in his section, so...

Also, what is the "CV" part for?

Character Voice.  Those are the actor's names next to the CV.

Also the promotional artwork shows Sasuke wielding a katana with his right hand and we already know that he is left-handed.

But he's always wielded katana with his right even while he's left-handed.
