I do thank him for coming out with the fact that NS was considered/planned though we already knew it but it was a much needed slap to some NH fans that thought it wasnt, but that SS support comment with regards to sakura kishi women every where should pick up pots and pans and hunt you down

That's what makes story telling so complete. You focus on your main character, the rival and the love interest. That's it.
This was a financial decision, nothing more nothing less. Kill the completion of the story for the sake of continuation.
Oh well.

To me, calling Kishimoto sexist is too much credit. If it was just all about hate towards women, then he wouldn't have made the men miserable as well. Both the men AND women of this manga got screwed and are now seen as trash...every single one.

Same here. I had braced my self. I was upset at first. But the looking back at how it was all a forced ending and a marketing ploy to really just force a continuation of the series is what's I take solace in.

The ending deviated from the roots. Characters went Ooc. Clan restrictions went out the window for many. And them all having kids conveniently at the same exact time really just made it all the more apparent that this was just a massive set up to leave the door open for future iterations of this cash cow.

I take the fact that it was totally absurd(laptops, sky scrapers....... hello)

And the fact that there's some really good AU head cannons and hopefully a future alternate ending done by a fan artist.

I honestly laughed when I first saw it. Then got upset when I saw my ppls hurting here.

Now I'm better. Way better actually. I'm totally ignoring the last two chapters and just going with fanfiction and other head cannons for now.

I hope my friends here can take solace in the fact that nothing makes sense in that last two chapter arc at all. Hahaha.
Laugh and move forward with our own community fan stories yet to come. Which are much much better if I do say so myself.

I actually feel a lot better about this and with how inconclusive it turned and out ass pullish it was. I stopped giving a damn about those chapters. Don't need a movie to open closed wounds.

Fan fic, fan art, head cannon, and doujin have been a god send for me.

Its really sad... I never thought Kishi would ever add a whole movie focused on romance or really show the kids of pairings. I never thought he would really show so much focus on romance in the end of Naruto. It wouldve been a dream to see all this. I always hoped for something like this.... But now all of this happens in favor of SS and NH. This is really the worst that could happen.
He really goes all romance in the end and that all with NH and SS instead of NS.

I'm with you on there man. But like I said. With the sheer absurdity of it all and with the way things went down to force a continuation I really feel that it was a financial reason. Heck he didn't even draw the last chapter and I doubt how much he was involved in the movie.

There is nothing to move on to. Naruto ended at chapter 698 and the rest of it....is basically altering of pre-existing information plus adding more information that never existed before just to suit NH and its flawed logic of a pairing.

To accept this is to truly give up on what true love really is...and as a hopeless romantic I refuse to give in like that. If I did, I really would give up on the meaning of love.

What happens when an author can't even stay faithful to their own work?

698 is where it ended for me too.

The sheer absurdity of he last two chapters especially 700 really makes me laugh at how bad they were and un thoughtful and unserous in general overall bad really were.

She knows they have too much power and I didn't believe her. By the end of Friday, my last words to her was "You were right..."

Much better, now that I think about it. Kishi did such a plan unbelievable and childish ooc version of those characters and ending was sooo random that I really can't take it seriously.
Go from insular clans with death seal divisions(hyuuga) to inter breeding in a decade less and scrolls too skyscrapers and labtops really.

Wait for a real ending, that solves all the plot holes from a real artist. Then I'll accept that as my personal cannon and read the story again to 698. Haha then switch back to the fan fic cannon. That's what I'm waiting for. And I have no doubt that it will be a real ending that ties up all the loose ends.

Well kinda makes sense. He doesn't know what romance is. He probably toke idea from his assistants and editors to really spice the story.
But failed to see what he had created.

It was a good ride. I always had a feeling he didn't know wtf he'll he was doing. With all the back and forth. I couldn't have been trolling. It was definitely all just a jumbled mess in his head. Makes perfect sense now. Any other writer would have ridden that narusaku like a stallion in the end.

That's exactly what we need to do.
Like you said, theirs still plenty of narusaku.
Two-three bad chapters that were created to further milk the cash cow that is naruto, aren't gonna ruin what we spent 10 years dedicating our fandom too.
Heck even if narusaku happened id still be alittle sad that naruto ended. That's also a factor that's affecting a lot of people......I know it is affecting me.

The journey is what was great. I remember all those crazy weeks we had. It was all in good fun. And it was a blast just being here with all of you.

Plus we still have a lot I mean a lot of great narusaku fan fiction and maybe an alternate ending sometime down the road by a nice dojin artist, the fan art is a plus too.

I'm shipping this for the foreseeable future.

Kishi can enjoy his money, I'm gonna enjoy narusaku.

We shipped this for years. I was on this boat since The begining of part 2. So it's natural some people need more time getting over this and moving forward. And getting over what has happened.
