So is it a problem specific with your computer then?

Yeah, you can let her sign in as you to post your stuff. I don't think we'd have ever found out anyway.

It's a problem with McAfee, so yeah, it's only with my computer. And I wanted to ask in case it ever came up.

There's gotta be something bolluxed in the settings then. I run McAfee and haven't had trouble getting in. (Although I've never had to post art.)

I could have sworn I saw a mention of it, before, but I can't find it now...

Are fics allowed to include lemony MA-rated scenes? In other words, how high of a rating can we post them for the contest? (I may decide to do a censored and uncensored version, or I may decide to skip the lemony part altogether, but the way things are going it might come up in my entry)

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

It'll restrict your audience and thus the number of possible votes that you'll get, but sure, it can be MA.

Just wondering... do we have to clearly state which theme or keyword we are using for the art or story? Or can it be implied without it being said or stated?

To avoid confusion, and to be absolutely certain that the work involves one of the chosen keywords, you can just make a small note in the Author Notes stating which keyword was used. Or it could actually be the title of the piece as many of the artists have chosen to do for their Fanart entries.

I was figuring that it depends on how obvious it is which keyword that you're choosing. If it's a fairly prominent part of the fanfic or fanart, it won't be hard for people to figure out which one the fic/art is based on.

OTOH, I suppose that it doesn't hurt to stick it in author's notes just to be sure.

Attention!

If you've submitted a fanfic to the library and it hasn't turned up yet, please PM me. We'd had a few problems, thought to be fixed, with the library in the past, but we had another hiccup last night. So let me know if it looks like your fic is hanging there in limbo so we can get it posted for the contest and just so that people can read it.

Thanks.

Meh... I hate that it seems just about every post I make on this thread seems to be on something I'm still not sure will matter, but it MIGHT matter, so I guess I need to ask.

The dealine for entries... is the 26th, yes, but what time on the 26th? I mean, I understand that some people here are on the other end of the world from me, and that could even cause an international date line problem. So, the 26th at when in which time zone? (I... might be giving a very last-second entry, depending on how much time I have between now and then to devote to the contest)

And it is a good question. There's an answer to it somewhere in the middle of this thread, but I forgot to stick it on the first post where all the important details are supposed to be.

5 PM EST. (Eastern Standard Time. Or five hours behind Greenwich Mean Time.)

I won't be sitting by the computer with an alarm clock so you might be able to push stuff in a bit past that deadline, but don't count on it.

That means 4pm for you dear, your in TX, so your one hour behind the EST.

EST = Eastern Time Zone, it's the east coast of the US, and that place above us and those places below us.

Looks like I'll be dumping my fic in favour of my animated doujinshi after all.
