Parallels alone mean nothing. After all, that is just pointing out certain character is like some other character and so on. What is that similarity alone supposed to mean? NS has more to it than parallels. If Sakura and Naruto weren't friends and Naruto was never in love with Sakura and Sakura never in love with him, any parallels to any pairing would be meaningless. Same with Hinata and NH.

You (general you) keep arguing that Hinata is nothing like Kushina. What I am pointing out is that Hinata and Kushina both considered Naruto more important than their own lives. So it is really not true that Hinata and Kushina are nothing alike, is it? They did both love Naruto enough to die to protect him.

So did other characters. It is not exclusive for only her and Kushina. Whereas the similarity in personality with Sakura is only for Kushina and Sakura, that's the difference.
Hinata is not the only one who considered Naruto's life more important than her own.
Sakura did that long before, I said it.

No one is denying it, I think you didn't get the thing. What Hinata has similar to Kushina, other characters have, as well. There's nothing "special" about it, how you'd say.
However, comparing Kushina/Sakura, they do have that something special. The exclusiveness I've been telling you about.

Man, I don't even see Neji jumping in to save Naru and Hina as indicating he's similar to Minato, or that it implies a NejiHina pairing....

It's just a couple of friends jumping in to save their friends.... Any good friend and family will do that to their loved ones.....

Mina and Kushi jumping in to save Naruto is what any good parents will do to save their child, pair of Papa Wolf and Mama Bear that they are....

All of these parallelograms are getting a bit over-thought, ain't it?

Interests:Honestly, western sakura haters are pathetic (if your wondering why I say western, its because thats where all the sakura haters are) they hate sakura for the stupidest reasons, makes me wonder if they even read the manga for anything besides illogically hating on her, and even more so if they even read the same manga. Seriously they really are blind if they think sakura isn't the most popular female character in naruto and has a huge fanbase in japan, kishimoto-sensie's main fanbase. Honsetly, they aren't true naruto fans because they're practically bashing the main heroine of the series who has had AMAZING and deep emotional development, both romace-wise , character-wise and-power wise, and the love interest, Haruno sakura, of the main hero, Uzumaki Naruto. That alone is an insult to kishimoto-sensie's work. Not to mention they rub off the japanese culture, which is important to know if you wanna 100% understand the details of the manga.

My hobbies are drawing, and reading awesome facts about anything I love! Oh and how could I forget, I love playing on my PS3, my favourite online game is Team Fortress 2, favourite character to play with is the scout! (Although I love all of 'em).
Bless the PS2 era...and all those awesome games... (applause to you if you were part of that gaming age, jack and daxter, sly, spyro, crash etc.)

Damage the quality of the manga, lose fans and I believe fans can read well to know something went wrong, and lose reputation for the next manga (if he makes one). Something like that shows it in Bakuman, when a writer trying to make it edgier or at least tone it down, the fans will give a negative response. So yeah, take it or leave it, Sakura and Kushina is just as perfect as one can get.

Since we're talking about parallels, let me show you another one...

Their relationships are lot alike.
Naruto didn't saw hinata's love for him until she confess to him.kakashi didn't notice it until rin told him.neji told naruto to protect her as obito told kakashi to protect rin.neji gave his life to save naruto and obito to save kakashi.
hinata loved naruto and rin loved kakashi.guy they love didn't notice them.hinata's personality is like rins.(but i don't think naruto will kill hinata like kakashi killed rin)

I know guys, but the parallelism and all... like everyone desperately tries to make Hinata be the felame love interest in triangles that are only paralleled with NS.
