H&E's NaruSaku Debate Thread!

Of course that's what they're doing. Most of them think NaruHina is cannon because they refuse to properly analyze the chapter, so they want to rub it in. While it was a moment between Naruto and Hinata, I disagree that 615 concreted them as a cannon couple. That won't be the case until Naruto says that his feelings have changed, in which case, we will have to accept NaruHina as cannon and carry on with our lives. For the time being, we have the right to assume that Naruto still loves Sakura, as we haven't been told otherwise.

I'm surprised that they're commenting on those old videos though. LOL. They've probably got a list of prominent NaruSaku shippers and are, one by one, going to their channels and trolling. I wonder if they've left me any surprises on my wall....


Ah, I see. I wouldn't say that the promise doesn't matter anymore. I mean, we know that Naruto isn't chasing after Sasuke because of the promise, but I feel like it's still important to Naruto when it comes to his feelings for Sakura. I guess it depends on how one interprets Sakura's confession chapter.

striderI wouldn't be too confident since now it's a 50/50. NShas much more development and I do think it's supposed be endgame. But this is kishi's manga and he can procede with NH from here if he wants to. It's okay to be opimistic but not too much, else you'll be disappointed in the end.

I never considered myself one of the prominent NS posters, so I'm assuming they've hit me because of that particular video which included you and LordofIce. I wonder if they've hit him as well because he did upload a part of that 3 part video. LOL But yeah, you're right. It's still up in the air but given the dialogue, and the words used in the chapter by Hinata, no, I don't think they're gonna happen. Hell, I'll even say I know they're not because I'm that damn confident.

LOL The only reason I even checked my mail on YT was because I thought you had replied to my message sent to your uber awesome video. Congrats on that btw!

But as I've said, I'm trolling hard when the next moment comes out because they're idiotic for even counting their chickens. Just proves how dumb a majority of them are IMO. It sounds insulting but it's the truth.

Sure, this has raised NH chances but I don't feel they're it. Look at how consecutive these moments are being blasted in the chapters. It's like he's trying to get their development out of the way because he's not gonna do anything with them really in the future. The closure will likely be Naruto nicely turning her down, and saying he loves "Sakura-Chan". She's always been it for him IMO.

Because he cant see the truth he's using the SS googles, at sai's flashback Naruto told him that he could not confess because he could not fullfill his promise to her.
Later he says that the promise didnt matter anymore and he's going to save Sasuke because he wants to.

Or it's because he needs to make NH canon and that is hard to do if Hinata is MIA.

Or, I doubt it. Watch and be amazed! After all of these moments, I think we're FINALLY gonna get some dialogue from Sakura. It pretty much seems like the end of the "uber epic" NH moments.

You are still confident, then? This chapter 615 didn't in any way change that?

I admit, I do think that NS still has a chance to be canon. Not as big a chance than before recent chapters but still.

Well, you and I did a lot of videos together, and we used to have a lot of comment section debates back in the day. I'm not surprised that there are people targeting you. Lordofice probably has a flood of NH supporters sending him messages about the chapter. LOL. So far, I don't really have anybody attacking me about it. No comments, no private messages... I'm surprised! There are two NH shippers that are a little out of control on my video though. One says that Sakura hasn't done anything for Naruto, the other is flooding the comments with reasons why Hinata isn't selfish (which, no one said she is, so I don't know where that came from - but okay).

I agree with you! I'm not nearly as shaken about this chapter as I thought I would be. While it was a moment for NaruHina, I can't see Naruto getting over his feelings for Sakura with the flip of a hat. Until he says his feelings have changed, I will always have faith in my ship.

Same, and I mean looking at these moments with NH just makes me even more sure because of how it's played out. You're definitely right though. His feelings aren't gonna change at the flip of a dime, and this isn't even gradual. It's all being thrown in one fell swoop. NS was a gradual development so that's why it will ALWAYS make more sense. It didn't just happen. It was BUILT UP. That's what we NS fans should always remember when it comes to NS. That's why I'm not worried. Sakura is likely having conflicting feelings and it's legit. I mean, she's spent most of Part 2 with the guy, and her feelings for him make sense. Naruto has barely spent anytime with Hinata in Part 2, and she's only really gotten her confession beforehand but even so, Kishi made it a priority to SHOW us that the promise is what's holding him back from confessing, and with that, this is how I think it's gonna go just writing this out.

1. Sakura realizes she loves Naruto but decides to no pursue him anymore because she THINKS Naruto loves Hinata.

You made a very good point in your video. Hinata smiled when she saw Naruto with Sakura because she likely didn't think much of the hug, but Sakura ain't smiling about this at all. And then there's her reaction in this latest chapter to consider as well. She could easily come to the realization that she's in love with Naruto as well, and then bow out because she wants him to be happy and she could even go so far as to think she doesn't deserve him. Pretty mature right. She'd be selfless here as well. This would make people feel NH is the couple. If this does happen, don't be surprise NS fans. It's just Kishi trolling.

2. Somewhere down the line, Naruto turns down Hinata and tells her that he still loves our favorite pinked haired character.

3. Naruto's gonna be the one who confesses to Sakura, and she'll accept his feelings this time around.


I think that's how it's gonna go.

We're gonna get NS moments, but they'll likely be Sakura>Naruto. There may even be mutual moments where Naruto reacts to Sakura's actions and what not but it'd be enough to not give off the feeling that she's it for him.

Yeah simply because nothing for Naruto was easy he earned everything thought hard work, if he wanted to be with Hinata he could this since part 1, since sakura only demonstrated feelings for Sasuke, and hurt him 2-3 times but still he didnt give up, so why he should give up the problem with deserve is that Sakura think she does not deservers Naruto's affection but i think it will change soon.
Sakura is not a trophy for him because she has development he slowly wins her affection, he earned her friendship, trust, etc...
With hinata he had all this all along.

Someone must have opened the floodgates on my video, because now I've got pro-NH/SS comments coming at me from the left, right, and center. LOL. Ahh well. I guess I stepped on their toes.

That's sort of how I think it'll go. Though I will say that NH has more of a standing than it did previously, Kishimoto loves to troll, and I can easily see him twisting the romantic sub-plot to seem like it's going one way, and then twist it all around in the end. After the way he followed up Hinata's confession chapter, we've started catching onto his games. LOL.

I really like your prediction. I would also like to see Sakura redeem herself for her previous confession. Though, I suppose if Kishimoto gives her another confession to Naruto, everyone will say she's lying again.
Maybe your prediction is the best route to go. Though I can't really see Naruto confronting Hinata... I mean, not to be rude to Hinata fans, but she's never had anything to do with the plot. Naruto outright ignored her after her confession, so I can't see him confronting her after this either. The next thing he's probably going to turn his attention to after the war is Sasuke, and Hinata has nothing to do with that, so it would just feel out of place. But maybe... I guess we'll have to wait and find out.

Oh, when I say Naruto's gonna turn down Hinata, I think Hinata is gonna be the one in pursuit of Naruto. But given all of the dialogue that OTHERS have had in regards to NH, I'm surprised he hasn't caught on yet. I'd love it if Naruto turns her down soon but that's likely not gonna happen. He wants to milk this fandom but ohhhh, if he did. I'd die of laughter.

Thanks! I think it's a legit prediction. For some reason, I don't see her confessing again. I mean, it'd be nice but do you think Kishi would go that route? I think he's gonna leave the confessing part to Naruto this time around. He'd be the first guy to confess. It'd probably be all awkward but sincere. I actually want to see this more now.

Here's to hoping for a reaction now that Kishi has trolled us to death. If he shows Sakura's reaction and she's not happy about Hinata being all over Naruto, then I will SMILE because it's obvious what the hell Kishi is doing.

Oh, I see. Like another Hinata confession or something? I think instead of having him turn her down, Kishimoto will do something subtle to reinforce Naruto's feelings for Sakura. A small moment between the two of them that solidly shows Naruto is still as in love with her as he was at the start. I have no idea what that would be, but I feel like that would flow better, just because this isn't a shoujo.

I'd like to see Naruto confess! All of the awkward stumbling would be really cute. Though he might not actually stumble around. He seemed pretty confident in chapter three when he told her he wanted to kiss her forehead, and he seemed to have no problems asking how she felt for him. Ahhh~ So many NaruSaku feels. x3

I wish that this break wasn't so long! It's killing me not having all of the information yet. It's just as annoying as the break after chapter 469. The chapter that ended with Naruto saying, "I hate people who lie to themselves". Oh my Lord, that was the worst wait for a chapter I've even been through. So many NH/SS fans losing their minds over that. I wanted to pull my hair out. Hopefully 616 will be a more pleasant chapter for NaruSaku fans. Our poor fandom has been through so much this past month.

Actually, yeah, the bolded works better for sure. Then maybe we'll have some inner dialogue from Hinata saying she finally realizes that Naruto loves Sakura. That'd work perfectly.

I'd LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE if he said some of the things he had in Chapter 3 just to show us that he still loves those things about her, and she'd probably catch on to the fact that that was never Sasuke to begin with. It was Naruto. It's stuff like this that makes me soooo sure that NS is it. Right from the beginning. And you're not the only one getting excited with these predictions.

That did happen at the end of the year didn't it... Kishi knows what the hell he's doing, and I'm surprised these chapters are falling like this. The perfect cliffhangers to make you want to yank out your hair or someone else's hair. LMAO

Haha, I just want a reaction from Sakura. That one reaction will be gold for me because her focus will be on Naruto and her feelings for him most likely.

I feel that something like that would flow better, given that it's a shounen manga. If it was a shoujo, I could see Naruto confronting her, but it's not. I don't know. Maybe it will happen. The only way to find out is to sit here and wait, unfortunately. I wish I had a time machine...

That's what I've been hoping for since I first started shipping NaruSaku. I want the bench scene to be brought up again! What better way to bring NaruSaku full circle than to reveal to Sakura that it was actually Naruto that complimented her forehead?

At some point, Sakura must need chakra as well, God knows how many she's healed. Maybe he will kiss Sakura's forehead and give her chakra that way, like Dan did with Tsunade! I really hope so, and that would also smack this NH pairing once and for all. XD

At least until Kishi messes around with the couples again (like he always does) ;D

I wasn't ignoring your second option " He might have been misleading the readers". I'm telling you the most likely that is coming out of that speech, which I repeat what I told you:

Think about it, which it's not hard at all, why would Kishi cut it off if he don't want to confirm something this soon and/or why would he cut it off in a middle of well known sentence for each reader that at least 90% is sure what he meant ?

It's not necessary, just naruto reinforcing his feelings for Sakura is enough.
