The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread!

If you don't read it correctly, it is.
But it doesn't make sense if you read it carefully.

Hinata said in the beginning that she always been chasing him, EVEN NOW. After that she said that she will stop that AFTER WAR.
And than she said "I will be next to you holding your hand.
But she said NEXT TIME, means that next time will be on the battlefield, and no after war.
By holding his hand, she meant to fight by his side.

We just interpretated in the wrong way.
I you read it a second time, carefully, it become obvious that she's giving up on Naruto, but she will only after war.

Hmm...I still see it as a NH moment though DON'T HIT ME!!!!! lol
But I'm seeing it as Hinata isn't giving up because she said "I'll be the one walking with you and holding your hand" Am I the only one having trouble understanding Hinata's giving up on Naruto? I'm having a hell of a time Then again I don't have the brightest light on the ship, but eh. As long as I get to see the NH fans cry and bash like babies, I'm fine XD

I can understanding seeing at as a NH moment (though Naruto is nowhere in the scene) but how is it a negative NS moment?

Because she said she would be holding his hand and walking beside him... I'm a terrible NaruSaku fan

I don't see it as a negative NS moment.

By walking with him, Hinata wants to walk the same path as him. Meaning she expects him to walk with her, so she doesn't need to chase him...that's not giving up for me. But I think she'll take the rejection pretty nicely. I don't like how she's always dwelling on the past, the chase after Naruto, repeating it too. Also I think she should focus more on the Konoha 11-teamwork, instead of Naruto and Hinata-teamwork, like Sakura did. Loved her scene. "Not just you and me, we'll all be together !"

One thing I wonder, guys, is WHY a lot of people tend to look at the NaruSaku confession and assume Sakura was playing with Naruto's emotions and doesn't love him and all that jazz?? It wasn't necessarily stated he's given up on her since it's evident he still loves her very much, even after all this time and after how far Sasuke has gone an how keeping his promise has been pointless especially now.

Cause he said He HATED people who lie to themselves. others have interpreted this as She was lying about loving him.




Explain then please. Tell me exactly what you mean So I can process it properly through my head.




But then it'd be wrong to say Sakura's words were romantic too. It's either they are both romantic or neither are.

if you think about it....it doesnt make ANY sense...

hinata cant force naruto to be with her......and thats what it sounds like....

almost EVERYBODY in the leaf village knows naruto loves sakura and even hinata gave a smile when they hugged.


no matter how you slice it....hinata still trying to be with naruto makes no sense.

but hinata helping naruto win the war DOES make sense.

Reasons:

-They hate Sakura simple as that. They have always seen her as the big stepping stone preventing NH from becoming canon.

-They cling to the past keep bashing her for the way she treated Naruto back at part 1.

-They just see her as a she-demon manipulative, lying b**** that doesn't deserve Naruto.

-They bash her because she used to chase Sasuke in part 1 and now she loves Naruto they don't want to admit that. It's better to think that Naruto is her silver medal for not winning Sasuke.

-They prefer Hinata in a heartbeat over her because she's the right person for Naruto. She will never hit him, hurt him, lie to him etc etc.

-They just want her out of the way so that Naruto goes to Hinata.

With all these reasons is very easy for them to say that Sakura was lying to Naruto in her confession and to think no one from Sai, Kakashi and Yamato said that she was actually lying to him. It was only Naruto who assumed she was lying to herself because of his wall of denial that she will always love Sasuke no matter what. Yet the only thing that Sai made it clear that she wasn't lying about loving him" she thought she lessen your burden by confessing to you."

And yet Sakura knew she wasn't going to get through to him about stop chasing Sasuke because she knows him very well, it was confirmed by Yamato. She confessed to Naruto as a" last will" act knowing she was going to kill Sasuke and die in the process. It will be better to tell Naruto how she really feels knowing she might die and that he might hate her for taking the decision to kill Sasuke by her own hand. She thought killing Sasuke might erase the burden Naruto chose to carry because of the POTLT.

Very impressive, Graven. You bring up anoter good point, especially since Sakura didn't even care if Naruto hated her if she managed to live, given it's been my hunch besides my own hints of wanting to save Sasuke with her own hands is that she wanted to save Sasuke for Naruto since she saw he was trying his hardest to get him back not only because of his POLT, BUT also because he wanted to prevent Sasuke from being in the darkness, like his friendship to Sasuke prevented his being in the darkness alone.

So...can we all agree that we're gonna be in for some seriouse bashing from NH and SS fans? Oh, and hearing "HE'LL GET DIVORCED FROM SAKURA AND GO TO HINATA SOME DAY!!" Blah blah blah. Can't wait lol

Yes, as well as some inspired NH-ffc's. I would read it too sometimes, they can be so funny and seen from another perspective.

Lol! Agreed. I haven't read one NH fanfic that didn't make me bust out in laughter and say 'You people are idiots" and go read some NS that actualy makes some sense!

EDIT: Guys, I gotta show you something from a video on YouTube I commented on by mentioning in the confession that Sakura's only lie was about claiming she didn't care about Sasuke anymore and all that, and it's turned into a flame war with this giant @$$hole who wants so badly to prove me wrong, he'll just rag on me. Though to me, it seems like he's just trollin' because my opinion's different from his, and he can't see how Sakura is a good character and not useless at all! All this has been collected from the same video, from yesterday AND from earlier today.

Me: She isn't useless anymore. She went through training with Tsunade to become stronger to protect Naruto from getting hurt again as well as to help him save Sasuke. And even if she hasn't had a full battle in a while, she's more of a support due to the rules she follows set up by Tsunade for medical ninja.

octangularonions: and what has she done since she "became stronger?" how has she protected naruto at all? how has she helped save sasuke besides almost getting killed and putting naruto's life in danger?

Me: She's not been able to do all that, but he's helped saved Kankuro, Naruto, Hnata, and Guy's lives with her skills as well as being able to help others who get hurt. YOU just wanna rag on her because you hate her.

Me: She has proven herself to fight against a dangerous foe like Sasori, or did you forget that in your blind fit just to prove me wrong and just being a kitten because my opinion differs from yours? Even with Chiyo's help, she still held her own. So... does that make her "useless"? Or are you just scared because you see your own flaws with Sakura and just don't want to admit it? Don't forget. She healed Naruto when he was hurting from using Kurama's chakra since he was slow to heal, and she healed up Hinata after Pain left her for dead. But I guess in your ignorance just to rag on me because my opinion's different, you forgot that or refuse to see it.

I know he'll reply in a while just to try to tell me I'm wrong because he's more stubborn than I am and wants to "win" this argument when really, I am just stating facts from what I've read since I read and observe, as well as learn from others, about what happens in the manga and anime instead of just letting my "hate" spew out. To be honest, guys, I don't hate ANY characters in Naruto. I find that Mr. Kishimoto has done an awesome job with developing the wide array of characters he has come up with.

You know, would it be heartwarming that the next time Sakura expresses her feeling for Naruto instead of saying like (suki) she said love (aikitteneru). It would be reminiscent of how Kushina said she loved him. Hell I would mind if she putted Sasuke in the conversation if it was like that.

Sakura: I guess I do like (suki) Sasuke..... but I'm in love (aikitteneru) with you Naruto
