Prince Of Persia- 7/10
Not a half bad game to movie adaption but some of the roles were played very poorly and some seemingly major characters got 5-6 lines in the entire movie. Great special effects though and some beautiful desert shots, overall worth watching but I'm glad I didn't see it in theaters.

Thor-8.5/10

Hemsworth is near perfect for the role. I thought the same thing when I saw Iron Man with Robert Downey JR. The plot has its ups and downs and I guess they are saving up for the sequel but it stands on its own very well. Special Effects are amazing, and they had to be for this film. If the Cap is as good as this, then the avengers is going to be a cluster**** of convincing performances in such an epic film.

Batman Under The Red Hood 9/10

I really loved this movie, I would almost put it on par with Mask of the Phantasm. I didn't enjoy Joker's voice as much though.

Pirates of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides-7/10

While not the god awful abomination some critics claim it to be, its not as fun as the others. The plot is incredibly simple, and moves along almost at a snails pace at time. They managed to ruin a potential mega villain in blackbeard, and Jack Sparrow is too nice. Penelope Cruz wasn't bad, as a newcomer she is definitely trying out there.

I agree 7/10 for Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Only for eyes of those who saw the movie. (spoilers) --Click here to view--
The Mega villain of Blackbeard should have been as Epic as any other battle. It was ruined by the fact that some Fanatics were apart of the fight. Jack Sparrow was a little too nice this time around but I can understand he is trying to hide his feelings for Penelope Cruz (it would seem Jack tells the truth to lie to her). The few plot holes mount up with this new movie. It was fun and as you said Mik3, it runs either a little too fast or at a snails pace.
The Friends I saw it didnt like the fact that there was no conclusion to the Mermaid and the Religious Man (Cleric).

Would have been nice to know HOW Blackbeard was able to zombify people and capture ships into the bottles.. (unless I missed something).

To some I am a Fallen Angel, to others I am the demon of oblivion, I guess the lies are finally found, What will you be on judgement day?

Life is short so best to know what you are capable of. Enjoy the Ride of life and yet keep a close eye on everyone around you. because one day, they could be your saving angel.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides-- 7.5//10

Have you seen it yet? No? Then turn away ;P --Click here to view--
I want to rate this one higher if only because I really did enjoy it, but there were problems with it that I gotta acknowledge V_____V

The story was fun, but definitely erratic. It's been the pattern for these movies to have multiple threads of subplot, but for the most part the first three managed to keep them very cleanly defined from each other while also keeping them entwined. This one...not quite so much. The beginning was a mess, from the hustle and bustle of London itself to the really fast way we're brought into the story and "up to speed"; the thing between Jack and Angelica(?) was awkward and boring; the random insertion of the Spaniards was.....randomly inserted; and the "omg so cool must see zombie pirates" was barely touched on at all, which disappointed me since that seemed like it would have been much cooler to check out than harassing some mermaids for their tears so Blackbeard can snag someone's lifejuice.

Speaking of the mermaids, though--or rather, starting with them--they were freaking cool, and I gotta admit that my little fangirl heart went out to Philip and Syrena. The romance between them was easy to see coming, but at the same time was refreshing after any "moments" between Jack and Penelope Cruz.

I think what made this movie so enjoyable despite it's not being able to sit still for very long and just sorta going off on whatever vein it felt like, were the characters--new and old. Jack was as fun as ever, though he seemed softer and less....pirate-y (I blame Penelope Cruz entirely). Blackbeard was omfgsocool <3 A perfect badass with a great touch of smarm; shame that he had to rely so much on being called "The Mighty Blackbeard" and didn't many chances to be mighty, though. Gibbs is always fun to see, 'specially when he gets yanked around lol. Barbossa was so much fun, and with only one leg--wooden at that, filled with rum!--and I was glad to see him put his hat back on and take up "legit" pirating again at the end.

OH. And another big plus about this movie? NO ELIZABETH OR WILL. Blech, so glad neither of them wanted to sign on for this one.

......I feel like I've done enough rambling. So I'll stop. For now.

Yeah... Good but not just as good as the last three. Depp was perfect as always but the story... just not as good. Hopefully we don't see something like this again.

Gamer: 7/10 Special Effects were great, but the story didn't make much sense. They didn't really give a reason why the antagonist was trying to take over the world, and the guy you think is supposed to be the protagonist at the beginning just turns out to be some side character who dissappears halfway through the movie. I gave it a 7 because it wasn't bad enough to give a six or a five, but it wasn't that great either. I would only reccomend this to someone who enjoys action movies with mindless violence and little story development. My miff is they could have made it a lot better, they could have given a reason why the rebels are rebelling, why the newslady even pops up in the first place, they should have developed the kid controlling the protagonist more, they should have given a reason why the antagonist decided to make the protagonist's life a living hell, etc.

The Hangover: Part ll- 7.5/10

I went with my brothers, on memorial day, so I was a little tipsy. Therefore, I laughed my ass off. A lot of people who go with their buddies will love it almost as much as the first. But in retrospect, they basically re-created the first movie, in a different setting. Its still good, but you know too much about what is going to happen.

Hangover 2- 8/10
Saw this movie at midnight last night with some friends and I thought it was pretty funny. Some of the gags are reused but there are some new ones that are funny. One thing that I thought was off the entire movie was how little everyone responded to the kid getting his finger cut off, I mean really? His finger got chopped off just throw it to the monkeys. Not only that but it could potentially ruin his career as a cellist and a surgeon and nobody cared not even the dad. Don't know why that in particular bothered me so much but it did.

Super 8- 8/10

I remember JJ Abrams talking about how he came up with the idea for Cloverfield. He was in Japan to promote Mission Impossible 3 and his son dragged him into a toy store. JJ took a look at a Godzilla action figure and decided america needed its own monster. With Super 8, it seems he watched E.T., Close Encounters of the third kind etc and decided that kids and adults today needed their own coming of age film, along with that old school style of sci-fi.

The story is about the kids, they want to make a zombie movie to enter into a film contest. They used an old train station, and when a train rolls out of nowhere, they film in front of it for production value. If you've seen the trailer, you know what happens next. I will say the train derailment in its entirety was quite the spectacle to behold, even if I sat there wondering how the hell all the flying shrapnel is barely missing these kids (though it wouldn't be much of a movie if the kids died in the first half hour.) The monster/Alien is definitely a JJ Abrams monster. I won't spoil it beyond that. At heart it is a touching coming of age movie, about growing up, figuring out for yourself what is right and wrong, and moving on. The monster/sci fi aspect feels tacked on, but not in such a way where it seems odd. Just that there are times when after an intimate, touching scene of character development, suddenly, here is the monster on the other side of town, doing something freaky, just to remind you that there is a monster in the movie after all.

Arn The Templar- 9.5/10

This movie was great! It combined flashbacks and the mixing of three different plots into one great movie! The only problem I had with the movie was with the last battle. He wasn't a Templar anymore, but he still had the cloak on. Anyway, absolutely great movie. It's a medieval type thing that combines Action and Love in an awesome way, and apparently it was based off a trilogy of books which were based off of real life happenings.

I wanted this movie to be good and to be epic... And... you know where this is going. Not awful but supremely disappointing.
