In terms of movies, anything but Twilight, "girly" movies, high school "dramas", horror movies (excluding zombie flicks). In terms of fanfics, I only read stories with NS as the pairing or Naruharem fics with Sakura being part of it and nothing where Sakura or Naruto gets bashed constantly and killed like if they were animals.

From this episode the only thing I liked was the mentioning of the jinchuuriki (especially Fu and Yugito

). I have a bad feeling the new OP is going to be more fuel to the "yaoi fire" and 206 is going to be ruined with Sakura's expresions (next week's preview, for what I could see, didn't show Sakura blushing in the parts she does).

Finally caught up on watching the episode and I thought this one was okay, but like everyone pointed out the animation was a little off, hopefully they don't do that for the next episode since it's the big one.

I wouldn't worry about that yet - they didn't show any of the parts where she was supposed to be blushing in the preview.

Madara sure does like to hear himself talk, doesn't he? I mean, his only two abilities seem to be teleportation and NEVER SHUTTING UP.

At least we finally got to see all of the Jinchuuriki and Bijuu animated, even if it was only for a second each.

I loved the Jinchuriki being shown as Madara was explaining his master plan.

I'm a bit anxious for the narusaku moment next week and hope they don't ruin it.

But thanks to Paptala I know for sure what scenes were used.

Maybe they're saving some narusakuish scenes for the actual episode.

Good episode either way.

I think that they don't want to give anything away for the people who haven't been keeping up with the manga and are anime only.

And yes, despite the animation being a bit sub par, the episode was interesting. As most of the posts in here have said, it was nice to see the other jinchuuriki and biju animated if only for a little bit.

And of course there's Madara, who loves to hear himself speak (and here I thought that Danzo was supposed to be the politician

)

Well it is kind of cliché that villains simply love the sound of their own voice, so Madara must've really enjoyed his long-winded monologue (again, a cliché).

And yeah, seeing all nine jinchuuriki and their bijuu was good to see, despite how brief it was.

Now, the countdown for 206 has begun. Mark your calendars people.

Y'all (heh I'm a southerner so I can use that contraction- I do in casual speech after all

are putting too much weight and angst into whether they get Sakura's confession right or wrong- has nothing to do with the manga canon either way. Remember it's just an adaption- and markedly inferior a one at that.

I'll be peeved if they get it wrong- epecially after Kishimoto made a point of bluntly (for a Japanese person) stating Sakura was being completely truthful about being in love with Naruto to the voice actors at Jump Festa 2009.

But it has zero connection to anything Kishimoto is doing so angsting is pointless. Getting peeved if they get it wrong isn't pointless, it's annoyance at yet another bit of bad character work when it comes to Sakura- they've done the poorest job on her all along because she is so far from the stereotypical tsundere they are familar with.

The animation for this episode didn't seem too bad to me; it wasn't as good as they have been recently, but there weren't any instances where it seemed especially bad.

.....I wanted to review this but can't seem to think of anything to say about it XD It did a decent job of following the flow from the manga chapter, the bit of filler at the beginning with Kiba and Lee was interesting, and the insertion of the jinchuuriki was kinda cool.

The preview for the next episode has me super excited!! It looks like the animation will be nice, and the portrayal will spot-on, or close to it. I just hope the house I'm watching next week has internet so I don't have to wait ><;;

@ciardha--Er, how is it any more pointless to get peeved over changes made than to "angst", as you put it? Either way you're getting upset over something that, as you put, "has nothing to do with the manga canon either way", "it's just an adaption- and markedly inferior a one at that.".

In any case, not sure I see how it's "pointless" to get excited or worried about the portrayal of a scene we all enjoy--I'm gonna guess most anyone that watches the anime (I'd assume, sure there are exceptions) don't watch it believing the anime can trump the manga; it's just entertainment, and there's no harm in critiquing it =]

Yeah, ya'll are tripping. No worries everyone, from what I see the animation looks pretty good so far in the snow, really beautiful if you ask me. And as one of the posters above me^ they're on point with the expressions. I admit I was sort of dissapointed in the Bridge scene with Naruto and Sakura where Sakura got hit by his tail, it was kind of rough, unsmooth animation. It's okay, we got the concept though, we all know she ran for the sake of her trying to save whom she loves from becoming a monster.

Plus, this animation's looking fine. I CAN'T WAIT! For the next episode, s'gonna be intense! NaruSaku ya'll.
