Top Gear

The new series made its debut in the UK last Sunday, and it was a good opener. Out of the three cars shown, I'd pick the Ferrari California (in blue or silver, though the red is nice). The Aston looks too old hat these days, and the Lamborghini is too crazy for my tastes. Eric Bana was also a great guest, a very likeable guy.

The California does look good, but I'm a sucker for that Aston.
And that video clip of Eric Bana's crash was CRAZY!
And LOL @ The Stig throwing a fit during James's review for the BMW 7series.

The Aston is still a classic, I have to agree. The design has just been mainly unchanged for years, though.
My God, that road. It may have been built by a mad dictator, but it's truly a thing of beauty. Those corners!
I love the Stig parts. XD My favourites are when he's trying to figure out things we take for granted, such as mobile phones.
Yeah, like Jo said, it's a new "season". You can catch the latest episodes on www.finalgear.com They usually have torrents of the latest episodes in SD or HD a couple of hours after it's finished airing on British TVs (Sunday night 10pm GMT).
If you have the bandwidth and a powerful PC, I'd recommend the HD version so you can admire the cars (or Jeremy's bald spot) in all their glory.
I wish I could! I've been really busy at work, and it's too late to book tickets now.

Meanwhile on the track, the battle of the continents, as Europe takes on the USA and Jeremy pits the Corvette ZR1's muscle against the finesse of Audi's R8 V10.
The Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Hollywood's hottest new property, Frost/Nixon and Damned United star Michael Sheen.
Somehow, I think the electric car will be "ambitious, but rubbish".
I'd say the Audi will edge out the Corvette in their duel.

I was surprised to see a Maserati going through my home town! I think it was a metallic grey 2004/5 GranSport.

and Smiter, The ZR1 beat the R8's time. That Corvette is a sexy car :O~~
I admit though, most corvettes are blech. I only like the C3 Stingrays and the C6 (current) Corvettes.
