I will of course! A couple of Phillies are in it, and our own Charlie Manuel will be managing the NL to it's first win in many years cool.gif

I apologize in advance for the 15 days later double post, but here's some big news.

Oh boy and that was the year before the Roid Red Sox had their magical run. Looks like that championship will be tainted as well.

Baseball has really fallen from grace. Can it be saved?

Well, people will always watch baseball, it might not be the most popular sport anymore, but its still our nation's past time. To us, the Red Sox are forever tainted but ESPN is going to defend them. 50 years from now, it will still be considered magical because thats how the media will have spinned it.

I'm watching Game 3 of Boston VS Yankz at Yankee Stadium...and so far it looks like it'll be a 3 day sweep from the Yankz. Ramirez was just called out for hitting A-Rod, and it was kinda funny to see Boston arguing the play. fu.png

To have the bases loaded and only 1 out against Boston...hehe.

Cardinals have won four in a row and are in first place in the NL Central, three games ahead of the Cubs. I hope we can hold onto that lead and win the Central and get back into the playoffs.

Alex Rodriguez gets out of his slump, Ryan Howard doesn't--he's going to need to in order to help the Phillies.

Great pitching by Andy Petite and a strong boost in the 4-6th by the Yankees lead them to a win. Sabathia vs. Blanton is going to be a crucial matchup next game.

I was pretty worried about A-Rod for a sec, but I knew eventually he'd come along. Same with Swisher.

Pitching is gonna be pretty awesome on Game 4.

What a strong rally in the 9th inning. I thought for sure it would go to extra innings, but those Yankee bats really paved the way for the win.

Johnny Damon really led the way with his phenomenal hitting. Phillies are in quite the whole and have to give it their all if they want to try and win in the Bronx. Going to give the edge to the Yankees in game six.

I'm a very happy girl right now biggrin.gif

ALTHOUGH, I did NOT appreciate the premature heart attack I had at only 20!! Guys, try not to kill most of your fans in the last inning, with 2 outs.

Please.

Chase Utley is a complete beast and Cliff Lee held off a potent Yankee's offense (can't say the same for A.J. Burnett with that performance). I honestly thought the Yankee's were going to comeback with that strong showing in the 8-9th inning, but they were held off. I think they were saving to win it back home though with A-Rod hitting a walk off home run.

Barring a historic 4 run inning against Rivere which is pretty much impossible, the empire will finally get its 27th title. Im dissapointed that the Phils couldn't repeat, which is tough to do in this day & age, but Im not angry with the team. They allowed me to experience a world championship for the 1st time.

So congrats NY, enjoy it.
