Suggestion from me: The world ends with you. its a nice game with lots of interactive battle, never got boring.

QUOTE
Ahh, DS games, eh? Well, I don't have that many DS games. I don't play the DS that much anymore, but let's see what I've got...

Oh yeah, echoing BL here. The World Ends With You is pretty good. I don't have it myself, but my friend does and I think it's worth a couple of plays. I'm thinking about getting my own one soon

Right now I'm still playing Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. Yep, I'm a bit of a Pokemon fanatic. XD Honestly though, I'm pretty dang close to saying that this is my favourite Pokemon game. It's different, and I'm impressed with the characterisation. There's nothing particularly attractive about drawing loads of circles, but I'm still obsessed with the game. I've been playing it for a few days straight now, and it does take some convincing for me to put it down. But you know, like most Pokemon games, it becomes a little boring and pointless after you've finished the game. I don't know what it's like since I haven't finished it yet, but gotta keep that in mind. Still a good game though! =D

Another Code would be another nice game. It has wonderful graphics, but it's not the most enrapturing one on the list. After you've finished it, there really isn't anything new. Good for one or two plays, but after that it's exactly something you'd dive in to buy. I just like it for the awesome graphics. It's mostly about solving puzzles and mysteries and I got stumped all too many times the first go DX

How about Mario Kart? Loads of people has that one... except for me. At the athletics carnival, there was a whole bunch of my classmates playing multiplayer on Mario Kart. I felt so left out

I've also got Nintendogs, Labrador version. I play it every now and then, but otherwise my doggy sort of gets neglected... I know, I'm a horrible owner! But hey, if you're the kind of person who will actually look after their doggy, it's not that bad. Some people like it, some people don't. I... just don't have the patience for Nintendogs, personally. XD;

I've got other DS games, but they seem a little dull. Naruto: Ninja Council, Pokemon Diamond (finished it, and now can't really play it anymore without sudden motivation), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (again, finished and got bored), and some others that I can't even remember. It's sort of hard to recommend DS games; Nintendo DS isn't up there with Xbox and PS3 and the other major consoles. There's only so much you can do one a small screen. You might want to look some games up on the internet before you go buying them - refunds are bothersome. D:

Gamespot has some recommendations here. I was looking at this page a couple of weeks ago.

sweatdrop.gif Sorry for the post that sounded like I was rushing. Hah. My nerves were all hyped up, after knowing that I would be able to play Tekken 5 with my brother for 5 straight hours. biggrin.gif

---

Alright.

My DS game list:

Wait. *fetches the DS*

laugh.gif -- Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, Harvest Moon DS Cute, Naruto: Ninja Destiny, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All, Phpenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations,, Pokemon Diamond, Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Touch Detective, and Touch Detective 2.

Sadly, I finished them all. 111193.gif And summer for me is almost over. shamefulcry0js.gif

---

Thanks BL and PB for the suggestions! I'll get them all right away. wink.gif Thanks also for the link, PB, I'll check them out after I post this.

Also, cheer up, PB! I'm sure you would be able to buy the Mario Kart soon enough. a_thumbs.gif Believe it! happy.gif

Thank you again! I really appreciate it. wave.gif

Now, I'm off to look for a forum here that is ALL about Tekken!

I'm such a video game geek. Since I finished all of my games, I'm stuck with playing Tekken 5 with my little brother. My hands hurt, really bad. 111193.gif

rather than buying the games I think its better if you buy an R4 or M3 or DSTT. Trust me saved you hella lots of money, if you're having a hard time looking for it PB, try Paddy's Market on Weekend they sell it for like... 30-40 bucks though you need to pay a bit more for the MicroSD but seeing that even a 2Gb MicroSD is enough for more than 10 games or so, I think it still saves lots of money for that.

PS: if you're caught, you don't hear it from me >.>

Agreed. That's what I use. happy.gif I just download it, or go to this certain store in my favorite mall where I just can ask professionals to download it for me. You should buy one! biggrin.gif

In my country, the individual game packages cost a lot, trust me. No way am I ever going back to that road again. wink.gif

I hope you get the Mario Kart soon. laugh.gif

I've considered getting an R4 before. It really does save money and it means that I can carry all my games in one card and not a dozen. I didn't know you could get them in Paddy's Markets; I should check it out sometime. Thanks, BL! happy.gif

Hehe, I now feel accomplished. I've finished Pokemon Ranger's gameplay and I managed to update one of my stories. Now, back to school work...

Oh yeah, Mum and I went shopping today, and she treated me to corn in cup. It's really yummy. Tfere are different 'flavours' you can choose, but Mum always gets butter and salt. It's delicious! wow.png

Oopsies, I think I'm blanking out on myself. I'm about to head to bed but I suddenly wanted to read some Avatar fanfiction, so I did. Then it came to me - I could have sworn I'd finished watching it, but for some reason I can't remember how it ended. Seriously - the browser history on my laptop tells me I've watched all the eps... my mind got invaded by a ghost! arg.gif

IMMA GO WATCH IT AGAIN D<

I've been feeling like I want to watch past anime and films all over again lately. Listening to Colors makes me want to watch Code Geass, and my sudden urge to write Clannad fanfiction makes me want to watch it again. I haven't been keeping up with After Story either; they're no fun when they grow up D:

Looks like I'll be doing lots of anime-watching during meals happy.gif

and what happened to your study...? oh, I gotta make a bit of a correction about the r4 price in paddys... its actually around 40s not including the microSD but I have a feeling that you can haggle it up to 30s or 40s including 2Gb memory card...

AVATAR FANFICTION!!!11!1

Ahem, yes, I was reading Avatar stuff. Oh course, my stupid memory now requires me to watch it all over again. Grrr...

I sort of remembered that I'd promised you a Zutara fic once, krisk, but you gave me the honourable mission of watching the series first. I WILL get around to writing that fic, I tell you!! rawr.gif

Hmm, my friend just sent me an email with a math problem that actually stumped me for ten minutes. This is a very good example of how silly mistakes can mean the end of you. I've figured out the answer now, and there was a spreadsheet that was password protected with the correct answer, so I know it's right. But I thought I'd just post it here for those that are bored, and also so I can return to it if I ever feel nostalgic biggrin.gif

There are 7 girls in a bus.
Each girl has 7 backpacks.
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Disregarding the completely misleading use of space in that bus, this is not a trick question, nup. Fifth grader question, pfft. It made me feel so stupid. Just for the record, I stuffed up by figuring out the number of big cats' legs and then multiplying that by 7 for the little cats. Now that I look back, that was very, very stupid. arg.gif

The answer is 10990 I think...

Break Down:

7*2 (the girls) + 7*7*7*4 (big cats) + 7*7*7*7*4 (small cats)

To be honest its not an easy question to solve without a calculator...

You've got it, BL! It's definitely not easy without a calculator; get one calculation wrong and you're stuffed. You just have to read the question properly and remember what you were up to. smile.gif

well... I did solve it without a calculator but I need at least a decent size piece of paper to write on. for a fifth grader thats a pretty advanced algebra there....

That aside... have you go back to your studies yet? or are you still messing around?

Algebra? I didn't even think of using algebra - with a question like this, I'd get it horribly messed up XD

I'm doing a healthy balance of both, actually. I don't have that much to study now that the exams are over, and I've just got a couple of assignments that I'm working through. happy.gif

Ehehe, the highlight of my day today: getting hit in the head with a soccer ball. tongue.gif At first I thought I had been glomped by one of my friends, but I sort of had to rethink that when several people practically jumped on me and asked if I was okay. My friend often headbutts me, and I swear her head is harder than the ball arg.gif

I also went shopping with my mum today and bought some stationary. I've been surviving the week with no pacer lead, a really, really crappy eraser, and zilch white-out. And then I saw these exercise books that I always buy for school. They have different animals on the cover, mostly marine, and I saw this polar bear book and... sort of squealed. Seeing the turtles made me squeal again. So Mum said I could buy them and use them next year. I'd better not misplace them now >.>

And my smiley ball! I love my new smiley ball. Mum said it looked like me with my braces XD
